INGREDIENTS
•500g ground chicken
•5 garlic cloves, minced and divided
•1 egg, beaten
•1/2 cup grated Parmesan, plus more for garnish
•2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
•1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
•salt to taste
•black pepper
•4 tbsp olive oil split in two
•Juice of 1/2 a lemon
• 500g zoodles (3 zucchini)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⁣⁣⁣
DIRECTIONS
*In a large bowl mix together ground chicken, 2 garlic cloves, egg, Parmesan, parsley, and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper then form into tablespoon sized meatballs.
*In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook meatballs in until golden on all sides and cooked through, 10 minutes. *Transfer to a plate.
*Add olive oil to skillet then mix in remaining 3 garlic cloves and cook until fragrant, 1 minute.
•Add zoodles to skillet and toss in garlic then squeeze in lemon juice.
*Add meatballs back and heat just until warmed through. Garnish with Parmesan to serve. Enjoy 😍

Life happens. If we're lucky, it goes the way we have planned. More often than not though, this is never the case.🤷🏻‍♀️

INGREDIENTS
•500g ground chicken
•5 garlic cloves, minced and divided
•1 egg, beaten
•1/2 cup grated Parmesan, plus more for garnish
•2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
•1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
•salt to taste
•black pepper
•4 tbsp olive oil split in two
•Juice of 1/2 a lemon
• 500g zoodles (3 zucchini)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⁣⁣⁣
DIRECTIONS
*In a large bowl mix together ground chicken, 2 garlic cloves, egg, Parmesan, parsley, and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper then form into tablespoon sized meatballs.
*In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook meatballs in until golden on all sides and cooked through, 10 minutes. *Transfer to a plate.
*Add olive oil to skillet then mix in remaining 3 garlic cloves and cook until fragrant, 1 minute.
•Add zoodles to skillet and toss in garlic then squeeze in lemon juice.
*Add meatballs back and heat just until warmed through. Garnish with Parmesan to serve. Enjoy 😍

Amazing as an afternoon snack or even breakfast. You’ll have 12 muffins depends on how big you scoop them. Each muffin has around 130 calories, 6g fat, 23g carb, & 4.5g protein.

Ingredients:
•2 cup oat flour (or 1 cup almond flour & 1 cup oats)
•1 tsp baking soda
•1 tsp baking powder
•3/4 tsp salt
•3/4 tsp cinnamon, optional
•2 mashed overripe bananas
•1/2 cup raw honey or pure maple syrup
•1/2 cup milk of choice
•2 tsp pure vanilla extract
•1/2 cup berries of choice, fresh or frozen
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Instructions:
*Preheat your oven to 180*C.
*In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients.
*In a separate bowl, whisk the wet ingredients except for the berries.
*Pour wet into dry and stir to form a batter.
*Very gently add the berries, stirring only enough to incorporate them, so as not to break the berries and turn the entire loaf purple.
*The batter should make around 12 muffins. Bake on the center rack for 30-45 minutes depends on your oven.
*Let cool completely, then loosely cover so there is room for moisture to escape.
*Taste and texture will be much better the second day and even better the third day as it will get sweeter (if they stayed that long😂), and I’d recommend refrigerating after a day, for freshness.

🌟Here’s a simple and delicious way to spice up your oats. This is an easy grab and go option for those busy mornings or pre-workout energy boost.

INGREDIENTS:
* 1 cup  fresh or frozen berries, divided
* 1 cup rolled oats
* 1 tsp cinnamon
* 1 tsp baking powder
* 1/4 tsp salt
* 1 cup milk of choice
* 3 Tbsp honey or maple syrup
* 1 Tbsp chia seed
* 1 tsp vanilla extract
* toppings optional (greek yogurt, fresh berries,...)

DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Grease a 6 x 6 inch baking dish. Place 1/2 cup of the berries at the bottom of the baking dish.

👿One tantrum on my part is enough for me to find myself sinking into the belief that I am the world’s worst mother, even though I know that is not remotely true.

I caught myself yelling so hard as I lecture them and later beat myself up wondering if they will need therapy as adults to cope with what a grouch I could be during their childhood.

🥞Healthy pancakes topped with chia jam.🍓
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ingredients: (Makes 10 – 12)
🥞Pancakes:
* 2 cups oat flour (simply grind rolled oats in a blender until you achieve a flourlike consistency.)
* 2 tsp baking powder
* 1/2 tsp cinnamon
* pinch of salt
* 200g plain greek yogurt or natural yogurt.
* 2 cups milk of choice, divided
* 1 to 2 eggs (1 worked for me in this recipe) or egg substitute
* 1 tsp vanilla extract
* 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍓Chia Jam topping:
* 3 cups strawberries (fresh or frozen)
* 1/4 cup water
* 1 TBSP raw honey
* 3 TBSP chia seeds
* 1 TBSP lemon juice
* 1/2 tsp lemon zest
⠀⠀⠀⠀
🥞Pancakes Directions:
**Add the oat flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon to a large bowl. Combine well.
**Make a well in the middle of the oat flour mixture and add yogurt, then add one cup of milk, egg, and stir to combine everything. Add vanilla extract and honey and stir again.
**If the mixture seems too thick, add a bit of remaining milk. You may need to do this as you cook in batches since the batter will thicken while it sits.
**Heat a non-stick skillet and cook for 2 to 3 min per side, then flip for 1 to 2 more min.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍓Chia Jam Directions:
**I like to use whole Chia Seeds, but if you’re not a fan of their “crunchy” texture, you can blend the whole ones.
**Add the strawberries to a small saucepan with water and bring to a gentle boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes until the berries pop and the mixture thickens.
**Remove the saucepan from heat and add the honey, lemon juice, & lemon zest. Stir, then mix in the chia seeds and stir some more to combine. Let it cool down to room temperature.
**Transfer the chia jam to a glass jar. Use as desired, and store in the refrigerator for 7-14 days.

🔺The bread is pretty versatile and lends itself to testing out variations so find what works for you.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍞It’s moisty, chewy, beautiful and super tasty.
🔝It is incredibly high in fiber, protein, & healthy fats. It’s gluten-free & vegan. Everything gets soaked for optimal nutrition.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
🤠It’s open-minded cause you can swap ingredients with whatever you have. Out of Honey? Use maple. You don’t like almonds, add walnuts instead or skip if you’re allergic to nuts...etc. just make sure to replace the ingredients in the same proportion.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
🚨The only ingredient you can’t swap is the Psyllium Husk cause it’s the base of this recipe.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
🔪A piece or 2 thinly cut will leave you full for a very long time.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ingredients:
•2.5 cups rolled oats
•1 cup chia seeds (or 1/2 cup flax seed & 1/2 cup chia seeds)
•1 cup almonds chopped
•1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
•1 cup sunflower seeds
•1/2 cup sesame seeds
•3 tbsp psyllium husk powder
•1 tsp baking powder
•1 tsp baking soda
•3 tsp sea salt
•2.5 cups water
•1/4 cup olive oil
•2 tbsp raw honey
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Directions:
1**Combine all dry ingredients, stirring well.
2**Whisk honey, oil & water, and add it to the dry ingredients. Mix very well until everything is completely soaked and dough becomes very thick.
3**Transfer into an oiled loaf pan or on a baking sheet and smooth out the top so it looks nice.
4**Let it sits in room temp overnight.
5**Preheat oven to 180°C.
6**Place loaf pan in the oven on the middle rack, and bake for 35-45 mins, depends on your oven. Remove bread from loaf pan, place it upside down on another pan and bake for another 10-15 mins.
6**When done let cool completely for around 3 hours before slicing.
7**Store sliced bread in the fridge in a tightly sealed container for up to 7 days or freeze for up to a month for quick and easy toast!

    🔪A piece or 2 thinly cut will leave you full for a very long time.
    ⠀⠀⠀⠀
    Ingredients:
    •2.5 cups rolled oats
    •1 cup chia seeds (or 1/2 cup flax seed & 1/2 cup chia seeds)
    •1 cup almonds chopped
    •1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
    •1 cup sunflower seeds
    •1/2 cup sesame seeds
    •3 tbsp psyllium husk powder
    •1 tsp baking powder
    •1 tsp baking soda
    •3 tsp sea salt
    •2.5 cups water
    •1/4 cup olive oil
    •2 tbsp raw honey
    ⠀⠀⠀⠀
    Directions:
    1**Combine all dry ingredients, stirring well.
    2**Whisk honey, oil & water, and add it to the dry ingredients. Mix very well until everything is completely soaked and dough becomes very thick.
    3**Transfer into an oiled loaf pan or on a baking sheet and smooth out the top so it looks nice.
    4**Let it sits in room temp overnight.
    5**Preheat oven to 180°C.
    6**Place loaf pan in the oven on the middle rack, and bake for 35-45 mins, depends on your oven. Remove bread from loaf pan, place it upside down on another pan and bake for another 10-15 mins.
    6**When done let cool completely for around 3 hours before slicing.
    7**Store sliced bread in the fridge in a tightly sealed container for up to 7 days or freeze for up to a month for quick and easy toast!

👌🏼This amazing little supplement seems to help in reducing cholesterol levels, aid digestion, and alleviate diarrhea and constipation.

  • Here's a highly nutritious Lebanese recipe that has all healthy & natural ingredients included in this delicious recipe. A perfect recipe to start adding more veggies to your diet!

Ingredients
-Kibbeh dough:
*2kgs fresh pumpkin
*1kg fine-grain bulgur
*2 onions peeled & grated
*2 grated lemon skin
*1 grated orange skin
*1 tbsp salt
*pinch of white & black pepper
.
-filling:
*300g Fresh/frozen chopped spinach
*300g Cooked chickpeas
*1/2cup Raw walnuts, coarsely chopped
*2 onions peeled & moon-shaped chopped
*1/2cup pomegranate sauce
*2-3 tbsps sumac
*salt
.
Instructions:
*Peel the pumpkin & cut it into small cubes. In a large saucepan, cover the pumpkin with enough water, boil for 20mins or until soft. Drain the pumpkin well but keep the water in which you boiled it, as we will use it for the bulgur and while mixing the dough.
*In a large bowl add the bulgur and pour 2 cups of the pumpkin water over it. Heat it for around 15mins. Then drain excess of water if any.
*Add the drained bulgur, 2 grated onion, & cooked pumpkin in a large bowl & mix well with ur hands. Add the grated lemon & orange skin, peppers & salt to taste & mix it all well until perfectly combined. The mixture should become like dough. Depending on how hard your pumpkin is, you may need to add some water from the pumpkin water, add that slowly.

-Filling
*In a pan add 1 tbsp of olive oil, chopped onions, a pinch of salt & sauté for 2-3 minutes until golden then add spinach, cooked chickpeas, walnuts, pomegranate sauce & sumac. Allow it to cook at low temperature until the juice is consumed. Remove & allow to cool drain any rest of liquid.

*Preheat oven to 180*C
*grease a non-stick baking tray with oil.
*Divide dough in 2 parts. Knead 1st part well spreading it evenly covering the baking tray. Add the filling on top. Then lay 2nd part of dough over the filling until covered.
*Use knife to decorate the top than spread over 2tbsp olive oil.
*Bake for 35mins or until golden

👉🏼In the last two months I've been told by many that I lost lots of weight and that I should stop by now, 'you'll ruin your face they said and you're going to disappear'💀

😌Well that's not exactly what am going to do, sorry to disappoint those people.

🤷🏻‍♀️What I've done so far is not a quick fix, it took me 11 months to get where I am from picture 1 to picture 2. I didn't do it to lose just weight. There's so much more than just a number on the scale...I'm gonna continue to workout because it's an investment for my future.
.
💪🏼Working out, putting on some muscle mass, eating in a balanced way most of the time leads to a healthier future me. So this is one serious and important reason why keeping fit is what I'm going to do.
.
✨Don't EVER EVER EVER change your body because someone told you they don't like it. The only time you should be changing is to become a healthier, stronger version of yourself  and you do this because you want to.

🙏🏼 #2017 has been a year of #transformation for me. 16 months ago, I started a #weightlossjourney to better myself and be a good example for others especially for my daughters. It’s amazing what patience, dedication, hard work, exercise and good #nutrition will do to you, down a total of 27kgs.
.
🤔 Believe it or not, losing the initial weight is the easy part. There are days where I still struggle with the urge to binge eat. There’s moments where walking through the #gym is the hardest part of my #workout . I may have lost weight but old mentalities die hard and it’s a choice I make EVERY. SINGLE. MORNING to continue to be a better version of myself. Just because you lose weight doesn’t mean it gets easier.
.
📍The work never changes, but the #goals do.
.
🎯 Something I think people often tend to miss is that the amount of #diet and #exercise required to achieve your goal is the same amount needed to sustain it.
.
🔑 Instead of looking for short-cuts and gimmicky products to speed things up, shift your focus to making the process as enjoyable as possible. If you hate it, you won’t sustain it. People don’t do things they hate long-term.
.
👊🏼It’s not easy, It’s not glamorous and some days it’s down right crazy hard but I promise you, you can and you WILL.
.

  • 😣I know many of you have noticed this, but last week wasn’t my lucky week!
I was extremely feeling down😕excuse me if I’m being completely honest. I didn’t workout much and secretly wanted to be home alone free from all duties👩‍👧‍👧sitting on the sofa watching TV📺
.
🤷🏻‍♀️I literally had those days, debating with myself for an hour to decide if I should get up and just go exercise…..well yeah I made it and felt so much better afterwards😅
.
👌🏼If you are lacking motivation give one of these handy tips a go!
.
1️⃣Let’s start with the most brutal: As I said I spent about an hour debating whether I should go workout or not…. That’s an hour I wasted when I could just gone and got it done! I would’ve been home sooner chilling.
.
2️⃣Music: Find a playlist to hype you up before you go to the gym or even make your own playlist. MUSIC FEEDS THE SOUL PEOPLE!🙌🏼
.
3️⃣Buy a new workout outfit! This may sound a little silly but whenever I get a new gym outfits I somehow have this burst of motivation to SLAY my exercise hard😄am covered in this area though with @myproteinae gym clothing🛍
.
4️⃣Tired? Boost your mood with a pre-workout meal such as a pre-workout snack. I have shared many before so feel free to look around my profile.
.
5️⃣Go at the time that best suits you! I like to train at night but my only free time is in the morning or around noon.

It's not selfish. It's self worth.

I allowed myself to be put on the back burner for so many years after having my children that I let my weight and health fall wayside to the point of not being able to play with my own kids. 
Self care has found me my life's passions.
