  • Lamarr Womble - Reflection January 2019 “Tunnel-vision, choose your goals, your people and just do you! Tune out the noise and do what makes you happy; it’s what is respected the most!” For me and you: it’s easy to wonder why you aren’t moving up or as successful as other people. You gotta keep your head down and run your race and stay focused on where you are headed. People actually have mad respect for longevity, sustained greatness and unique creativity that makes you different than everyone else so keep doing that! There’s enough for everyone to eat out here, so let’s break bread, love and support each other!
Get rooted in your Why and in your Values and staying in your lane gets a lot easier no matter if something is tempting you to get out of your lane that may not align with your vision! #passion #values #why #motivationalspeaker @waldorfuniversity

  • We are Not Alone

Taking action toward building a better life can be scary and takes great courage. Most of us become consumed by fear when dreaming about a better future.

We fear we will fail.

We fear we will not have support.

We fear people will laugh at us.

Many of us even fear success.

We fear we won’t be able to sustain the success we achieve and will fail publicly when we inevitably collapse.
Fear is often our biggest obstacle and keeps us frozen where we are.

We are not alone in these fears. We’re all afraid when we’re uncertain or when starting something new. No one is immune to it. We can combat fear only when we accept it as inevitable. I’ve found these five truths about fear from the book "Feel the fear and do it anyway" Susan Jeffers very helpful.

The fear will never go away as I continue to grow.
The only way to get rid of the fear of doing something is to go out… and do it.

The only way to feel better about myself is to go out… and do it.

Not only am I going to experience fear whenever I’m on unfamiliar territory, but so is everyone else.

Pushing through fear is less frightening than living with fear.

Do any of these resonate with you, my Beautiful Humans?

They sure do to me, but it feels amazing to know that we are not alone in our fears!

  • If you wanna be successful & wealthy... 💰 Surround yourself with people with $$$. It will motivate the shit outta you.

And you’ll get a lot of knowledge. Not general knowledge, but REAL SHIT you can actually apply into the real world. Much better than the stuff they are teaching in schools.

  • We @leadersintransformation just wrapped up an unforgettable weekend over here in Los Angeles. We had so many friends and family members, some of who traveled across the country, to not only support our next wave of trainers but to learn how to take their lives to the next level.
.
The vision, intimacy, appreciation, and overall energy was vibrating at such a high level all weekend. It was truly amazing. Special things happen when a group of people come together and share an open space of expansion, healing, and creating.
.
I’ve been a public speaker for the last 12 years, and a transformational trainer the last 4 years and have had my share of breakdowns, breakthroughs, and satori experiences.
.
I’m excited to be spending the remainder of 2019 on a short tour not only continuing to do what @leadersintransformation does best but also launch a brand new training, that has been for me 12 years in the making. A training that in one day, 7 hours, will uncover your self limiting beliefs, where they come from, and more importantly how to release them in such a way that changes how you relate to yourself and others, allowing yourself to pursue your goals and dreams with passion and freedom.
.
What’s about to take place in these one day trainings is going to, if you attend, shake your entire world.
.

  • There are going to be moments that you’re sad, angry, frustrated, or annoyed & in all honesty 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓’𝐒 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐄. ⁣

But you should 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 let that moment last longer than it should. Learn how to let go of certain situations, people, & things that drain you.

  • WELCOME TO MY TED TALK 💁‍♀️ My name is Jessie! Reintroducing myself because I’ve seen so many new faces following @sheisaskingforit 👯‍♀️👯‍♀️👯‍♀️ My mission is to empower you to ASK for what you deserve in your personal and professional life 🙋‍♀️. Asking takes courage 💪, intention 🙇‍♀️, resilience 🏃‍♀️ and confidence 💃. But what happens when we DONT ASK? 🤷🏻‍♀️ At home, Women do 90 more minutes of housework a day than men. At the end of our lives, thats 7 years of unpaid labor 🧼
At work, women are paid 78 cents on the dollar to their male counterparts. At the end of our lives, we'll earn $1,055,000 less, when accounting for the life long pay gap 💵
So what does that tell you? ASKING is really hard - in most cases, we'd even lower our quality of life instead of ASKING for what we deserve 🤦‍♀️ The results of not asking are dangerous and leave us feeling always "less than." ⬇️ When we don't assert EXACTLY what we're asking for, others decide for us. 🚫
I created this community because I'm a firm believer that it's my life. It's my voice. I decide what I'm asking for. I want to help you do the same.💗

  • I remember the first time I walked into a gym by myself. I was nervous, scared… and wearing a skirt.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
I know how intimidating it can be to go to the gym by yourself, period.
But add in a rarity like a skirt, and I felt odd. Out of place. A target even.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Haven’t you ever felt that way even in your everyday life?
Maybe it’s high-school or college, or even your work place. It was hard to get over the fear until I finally realized that no-one cared. No one cared that I was lifting weights in a skirt - in fact, they admired that I stuck to my faith even while in the gym.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
I remember growing up and being picked on relentlessly throughout my public school experience, even by my own teachers.
I was labled the goody two-shoes and was subjected to constant name-calling and tauntings because I wore a skirt and had long hair.
I was different.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
So I understand that fear, young girl, college student, intimidated mom.
I understand what it is like to be SCARED to be different and sometimes wished when the bullying was at an all-time high… that I was “normal”.
But now I embrace the difference, the so called “odd”.
Even in my everyday life, I love dressing in such a way that represents who I am!
⠀⠀⠀⠀
It is quite the conversation starter, and I welcome curiosity.
Remember when people are looking, it’s most likely out of just that: curiosity.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
I have said it before but ill say it again: We live in a world that is so inclusive.
We are told to accept everyone.
There has never been a generation in the 21st century that has been so accepting of the diversity of the world.
That means YOU!
Rock your modesty…own it!
Besides, “normal” is relative anyways.
Shine, ya lil sunflower💗🌻
