  • Accept each moment as it is. I needed to hear this today as I started getting mad last night knowing we are going to start missing things we had planned. A trip to Puerto Rico with family, right of passage school activities for kids for 8th and 5th grade and pushing a home improvement project back.

.
We always have 3 Choices in any given situation:
-Accept a situation
-Change it
-Or leave
.
.
Well our only choice here is to ‘Accept a Situation’.
.
.
If we don’t accept it, we resist it and it amplifies the suffering. Face circumstances as is and understand that all things eventually will change.
.
.
Reminders I will have to revisit often over the next few weeks. Trips and home projects can be rescheduled. Special end of year school activities....well that will be tough, we will have to face and accept that as it comes. I have one child who won’t care and the other who definitely will be sad missing the 5th grade milestones.
.

  • Feel ALL the feelings.

I have been seeing lots of things around staying positive which feels a bit like bypassing to me. In my own experience, I’ve had to go thru layers of grief and sadness. And I’m sure these emotions will continue to come up at different times throughout this every changing reality. .
.
I’ve also spoken with people who feel guilty about enjoying the present moment because there is so much suffering going on.
.
.
This feels like a tough topic but it is ok to feel all the feelings right now. We do not have to live in a purely positive world and we don’t have to be stuck in sadness and gloom all the time either. .
.
So an invitation to just feel the waves. Feel the joy. Feel the pain. Feel the loss. Feel gratitude. Feel anything else coming up for you.

  • Letzte Woche hab ich gelernt, dass ein Schmetterling seine Flügel im Kokon ausbildet. 
Er schlägt beim Versuch sie auszubreiten immer und immer wieder gegen die Grenze. 
Und ein bisschen ist das wie bei uns manchmal. 
Wir machen und tun (ok, vielleicht jetzt gerade nicht oder anders aber sonst umso mehr) und kommen immer wieder an eine Grenze. 
Aber wenn der Schmetterling endlich den Kokon durchbricht, kann er nur fliegen, weil seine Flügel durch all die Versuche stark genug geworden sind. 
Und was, wenn das bei uns genauso ist?

Ps: auf dem Foto mach ich übrigens die Pause, die der Schmetterling im Kokon auch immer wieder macht. Versuchen - und ausruhen, Kraft sammeln - wieder versuchen. 
Gestern war toll zum Kraft sammeln. ❤️ I learned about butterflies last week. They train their wings while in their cocoon. Over and over. And after freeing themselves that’s what made the wings strong enough to fly. So maybe it’s the same with us? We train ourselves while reaching our limits until we are strong enough to shred them and fly? ❤️. Ps: you see me pause here. Because that’s what butterflies do after all those try’s.

  • Have you been receiving a lot of “downloads” or transmissions of information from spirit lately? ✨
With the current shift of energy in the collective, I’ve been receiving more intuitive nudges than usual. This card from the Ritual Deck, East, is what comes to mind for me. When I took this picture, I took it to share about the new moon. The moon is in the beginning of her cycle still, but so are we as a collective. We’re freshly in a new phase of being physical beings on this planet. ✨
The message for the mantra associated with this card is “I am prepared to accept new direction and take action.” What could be more dead on then that reminder right now? East is associated with the element of air, which relates to fresh new ideas and inspiration. ✨
This is the same energy that inspired me to create the meditation challenge. I’ve had a file on my computer for this meditation challenge for over a year now. It’s just been there waiting for the right time for me to take action. Spirit has been loud and clear with me lately that now is the time. ✨

  • Mindfulness influences the way we interact with the people around us. It teaches us to become consciously aware and awake, it helps us to live in a more authentic and respectful way. In order to be mindful of other people we have to live mindfully ourselves.

With what we are going through at the moment, it is important we help out others where we can, but while remaining sensible of the advice given.
