We remember God's love for us.
We remember His grace and mercy.
But we tend to think that we're condemned and that opens a doorway for us to become critical in our human nature. God did not give you His Holy spirit to condemn you, but with His Spirit, we can feel convicted from time to time.
It’s when we have lost the gravity and weight of conviction that we should be concerned and re calliberate our hearts as unto the Father. •
Today, I want to encourage you that God loves you.
He yearns for us to change and grow as people, but what He doesn't want is for the fear of not pleasing Him too be the drive behind it. You were freely given God's grace to honor and to serve your Heavenly Father. And this morning, when you got up out of bed, His grace and mercy AND love still abounded for you.

It's the one thing that no one can take away from us.
Lavish in it today.

  • I want people to be healthy. But what springs to mind when you think of health? I surveyed this and the results are: for most,  it's the physical self: weight, diet, exercise, disease etc. And that is all definitely a part of health. 
But the physical body is just the tip of the iceberg. You are more than just a collection of organs inside a skeleton wrapped in skin. And so health must be about more than just the physical body. 
The bulk of the iceberg that's under water is the part of the self that is made up of spirit, energy and mind. This is the part of the iceberg that shapes the tip of the iceberg and keeps it above water. 
If you don't nourish the base, the tip will eventually change and melt. That is, if you don't nourish your soul with kindness, don't cleanse your energy body and don't correct and control your mind to gain peace....after a while, it won't matter what you do to make the physical look and feel good in the short term, the true driving force of your physical body will no longer be able to sustain a superficial purpose. 
So how are you looking after your health.... your whole health?

But another supposed theory - "#breakfast is important to kick-start your #metabolism for the day" comes to #mind when one thinks about skipping breakfast.⁠

Results of a controlled study in lean adults on "impact of skipping breakfast on metabolism" showed no difference between the Resting Metabolic Rate of the fed group vs fasted group. Hence it doesn't really kick-start or boost your metabolism. However the fasted group did show lesser number of calories burnt during physical activity (as compared to the fed group) that day indicating the body's defense to energy expenditure due to an energy deficit (lack) created by skipping breakfast. Read on before you conclude that breakfast-eaters win !⁠

Does skipping breakfast cause you to overeat during the day ? - Yes it does, but not enough to compensate for the calorie deficit created by skipping breakfast. A study showed that "when breakfast skippers skipped 700 calories of breakfast, they overate on avg only 161 calories - maintaining a 539 calorie deficit. Remember that breakfast skippers also burn less calories during workouts. Hence if the goal is fatloss - breakfast has no biased impact. ⁠

☑️All in all, it is not mandatory to eat breakfast. Don't force yourself to eat breakfast if you wake up with a lesser appetite (like me).. but if you do wake up ravenous enjoy a nutritious meal.⁠

A light breakfast (green smoothie with protein or just a cup of coffee☕) work very well for my mental 🧠 sharpness in the mornings while lunch & dinner are my calorie-dense meals.⁠
