  • These jeans have a good amount of stretch, so while they are a skinny cut, they are plenty forgiving, making them an excellent everyday choice. @zumiez @driptdenim

  • First off, Miami is dope as always! Second, I want to give some advice on this fashion stuff. These are my beat up $13 salvation army found converse.

I was walking around, let’s just say a nicer, streetwear-esque jewelry store, with my friend and some doughnuts we had picked up. One of the employees who was trailing us (which is normal at these higher end stores) rushed over to us and said “whatever’s in that bag is not leaving this store.” After realizing that we hadn’t pulled off some Indiana Jones type bait and switch for a ring, he awkwardly chuckled and offered us some free chocolate. In the grand scheme, not that big of a deal, just a funny story. But it got me thinking about peoples perception of me/you, specifically in regards to how I/you dress.
Had my beat chucks been a pair of golden goose’s, my cut off Levi jean shorts been FOG, and my old Harley tee been Gucci, I have a feeling we wouldn’t have gotten any questions. At the end of the day, I fully believe you need to rock what you think is dope and nothing else. But I also think that you need to be aware of how the people that you’re going to be around will perceive you for it.
This means walking into job interviews dressed like someone who is deserving of a job, going to school looking like someone that is ready to learn, or meeting new people looking like someone that is going to be nice to talk to. WEAR WHAT YOU WANT, but know that if you walk into a store with jewelry on the low end $300, wearing these converse, people might not show you all of the respect that I know you deserve

Alternatively, I could’ve captioned this “beater type of day,” but lemme know if you want some more reading material on my posts ————————————————————————-#beatupchucks #converse #chucktaylorsneakers #dirtyconverse #beatersday #mensfashion #menswear #chromehearts #gucci #fearofoutfits #goldengoose #mensclothingonly #mensshoe #menstyle #style #menstuff #shoegame #vintage #thriftstorefinds #fashion #insightfulthoughts

  • 🕴🏻ROARING🕴🏻 Got a dinner gala, cosplay or group Halloween costume coming up? A Great Gatsby or roaring 20’s inspired style is a recognizable look that can be easy to pull off with the right pieces. We aren’t going for complete accuracy, just being able to pull off a look with what we have. If you already have clothes like these, perfect! A black tuxedo, bow tie (preferably black or white) and white shirt will set the tone of the look. Put them together and now you just need a flapper! 😎 Featuring @mimiandchichi —
