  • Congratulations to @emsabol , Sokal’s Director of Account Resources, who started with the company 12 years ago today. To celebrate the occasion, we asked Emily some questions about her time here so far.

Q1. What do you like best about your job these days? “I have found it really rewarding to work alongside so many talented people, learn what they do, and help find solutions to the challenges they face. Getting to know more people on a personal level has also been so cool!”

Q2. What was the biggest lesson you learned watching this company grow from your early years as the first GD?
“The biggest lesson I’ve learned during my time with the company is that mistakes and failures are bound to happen. But it’s how you bounce back that really matters.”

Q3. What advice do you have for new employees?
“Be a hand-raiser, ask questions and volunteer for new opportunities. Finding ways to contribute outside of your job description is the fastest way to advance.”

Q4. What is a fun memory from the last 12 years?
“A fun memory? One time we went to Disney World…. JK! There are really too many to list. When you’ve been here as long as I have your coworkers become family, and there’s a lot of laughter and incredibly fun times that happen as a result.”
