  • This eggplant, cauliflower and chickpea curry is pup approved 🐶  I used to suck at making Indian inspired dishes and curries but I’m slowly getting better with more practise. I roasted the cauliflower and eggplant for this dish and I think that make a big difference in the flavour and more importantly I finally found an amazing masala from @narayannisrestaurant. So spicy and delicious 😋 . Vegan curries are so well rounded and healthy. Plus the spices are full of antioxidants! Do you like curry?

  • I love Jungle Cafe. This place just keeps getting better. I haven’t been able to steer myself from the buffet. I really want to try their expanded new menu but the buffet gets me every time!! 💛❤️💚

아 매장 컨셉도 정말 좋고, 가격도 정말 착하다!
음식 맛도 맛인데 망고스무디 스트로우가 모닝글로리였다 😭👏🏻

気に入ったメニューは本当によく創る。
主人も気に入っているとなおさらです。
また作らんが~?と言われたのでまた創る♪

こうした会話がローフードでできるようになってきたことが本当にうれしいです。

ちょうどレッスン用試食のメニューにも考えてたタイミング、、
食べた直後に、「勿体ないね~」の言葉にジーンとなった。

私の投稿の写真は日々のローフードのほんの一部。
毎日ローフードを創る私を何年も見続ける主人。
その才能もったいないわといわれます。
彼の言う才能とは:
ローフードにあほが付くほどに四六時中夢中、研究心も集中力も半端ない。だそうです。
それを他に活かしてといわれるけど、、、
私から今ローフードを取ったら、寝ることが次の特技でしょう~~~。 あなたのその好きにやったらと半分呆れながらの放置が
私の中に眠っていたローフードという種に水をやり、花を咲かせています。

これはお肉ではなくすべて植物性食材を使い、かつ加熱もしないつくねです。
柔らかさと軟骨風の食感がアクセント♪

  • Hiya! This is a little something I call the "move-in special" because I've moved again - if you're keeping track, yes, that's 4 times in 14 months 😘 ♡
All I had on hand was  a slightly decrepit sweet potato and regular potato. There was also a toaster oven, so I chopped the taters up and threw them in.

Although I'm trying to be a #plasticfreefoodie I still keep those handy bags of ready to go Indian lentils on hand. I'm working on it! All in all, this was a tasty little meal. Fear not, though! I now live in a veritable food Paradise so you can look forward to lots of good posting.

  • I like dinners you can prepare, chuck in the oven and then eat. This is my take on a Buddah bowl (we call them bowl of good things in our house).
Cauliflower rice with herbs and chickpeas, ginger and Bragg's roasted sweet potato, rice wine vinegar and brown sugar roasted beetroot and veges (beans, zucchini, carrots tossed in olive oil, salt and red pepper).
Served with a red capsicum puree of blended roasted capsicum X2, 1/4 cup walnuts, juice of half a lemon, 2 tablespoon good oilve oil, garlic cloves and a dash of apple cider vinegar. Delightful, healthy and easy.

Ingredients:
1 can chickpeas, rinsed & drained
2 ripe tomatoes, cubed
1 small cucumber, cubed
2 tbsp chives, ciseled
3 tbsp soy yoghurt
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp dijon mustard
1 tsp paprika
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
pepper
👉🏼Method :
1. rinse & drained the chickpeas (if you want a better digestion, you can peel off the skin but that’s an extra 10 minutes!)
2. flake them with a fork (or clean hands)
3. add veggies and mix.
4. add spices and yoghurt and mix again
5. set in fridge about 15 minutes so flavour gets together
✨ WRAP RECIPE 🌯
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup water
Method : simply mix & kneed with one hand until a dough super elastic forms. Adjust flour/water. Set 10 minutes. Then divide in 2 and roll out in very thin wrap (use flour to prevent sticking). Cook 2 minutes each side on hot pan. Keep in clean dishtowel. Use right away or damp the towel with water and microwave 20 sec to make soft again!
Here it’s served with cabbage, lettuce avocado & sprouts!

  • Beyond meat ( @beyondmeat ) is spreading across the world in so many mainstream restaurants such as De Dutch, A&W, Carls Jr, White Spot, even Carderos downtown, and many more! Why? Because of its incredibly realistic meat-like taste and texture that fools even the most adamant meat-eating taste buds. But I think it’s time we shed some light *beyond* the flavours. (get it👀)
For example, let’s say hypothetically you’re at A&W and you are in the drive thru after a long day and you just want something that tastes good and fast. You have the choice to buy a beef burger which will take 99% more water 93% more land 90% more greenhouse gas emissions and 46% more energy to make than the plant based alternative.
•OR•
You can choose the Beyond Meat burger which takes 99% less water 93% less land 90% less greenhouse gas emissions and 46% less energy than the beef burger. You won’t be compromising any taste with this one (trust me I was never a huge fan of ‘garden burgers’ either, even as a vegan). Beyond Meat on the other hand, blows my mind every time I get one. You’ll be able to go home after a long day and still enjoy your comfort food without sacrificing the environment, cows, or your own health. It’s completely guilt free!
Next time you go out with the intentions of getting a burger, no matter where you live just do a quick google “beyond meat restaurants near me” and it’ll show you the nearest restaurants that offer it!

  • ATTENTION MANCHESTER VEGANS! A new takeaway is in town. We were lucky enough to win a takeaway by @veganshackuk and it was incredibly delicious 😍 the sliders were definitely our favourite. The house sauce is amazing and the soya chunks had the best flavour. The spice mix is just so good. It’s one of the best vegan meat replacements we’ve tried so far 💚 If you haven’t ordered already, do it soon. The owners are so lovely, the food is brilliant and it’s exactly what Manchester needed. We definitely can’t wait to order again. Wish we could do it right now 🤤

  • HOMEMADE: Salmon crudo, dill oil, horseradish 🐟🌿 a good idea but not executed in the way I wanted. I was a little to ambition with my plating idea and sadly do not have the sashimi cutting skill to execute it. With the components, the dill oil did not infuse for long enough either and i should have definitely made my own horseradish sauce. Ratios for sauce were off as well. 
Was a pleasure to experiment for the boys Karan & @sujansriharan. Will come thru with some mean execution next time 🙏 all about Kaizen and improvement 👌

Dogfish is actually a shark species which has a lovely creamy flavour and texture somewhere between cod and monkfish and it went beautifully with the components of this dish. Unfortunately, I got this from an unfamiliar fishmonger (sorry @humphreysleigh 😭) and did not realise that the European population is endangered! So this moment definitely highlighted to me the importance of researching your produce and their provenance. Atlantic dogfish only from now on 😅🐕🐟

Trying out flavour combinations and techniques. Will be interesting to try a lethicin based foam over egg whites next time as pioneered by the great @ferranadria, sadly, still to broke to afford NO injectors haha. This dish turned out really great and light, sadly the use of seabelt was a little too tough, would've preferred nori sheets but I ran out 🤷‍♂️. They were also pickled beforehand which ruined the composition slightly but lesson learnt 👌
