  • This stuck with me this weekend as I flew home from an incredible clinical training I participated in. Make no mistake, this takes practice and consistency. But if you believe everything is energy (I do), and you know that vibrating at the frequency of the thing you want is absolutely necessary for getting it, then you know that one of you first clues that you are not vibrating at that frequency is the quality of your thoughts!⁠

Think of it this way. Your thoughts are coming no matter what. We are unable to stop "thinking". So why would we allow ourselves to continue thinking thoughts that don't support our highest good? ⁠

A lot of people will resist this. "You can't control all of your thoughts". "Negative thoughts are natural". "You don't have to be positive all the time". ⁠
⁠
I'm going to argue that all of these things are a choice. I'm not saying you will never have a negative thought, but can you accept and take ownership that your thoughts are your choice? ⁠

I am intentionally spending time clearing out the trash in my brain right now. There's a lot of garbage in there. I'm not judging myself for having the thoughts, but I'm absolutely deciding if I want to keep thinking them!⁠

  • Que complejo el tema panza. 
Hoy me vesti y me molesto mi panza pensé y sentí que "arruinaban el outfit" que sería más linda si no la tuviera y bajonee un rato 🤦🏻‍♀️ Me frustran estas minis batallas que a veces tengo con mi cuerpo, no puedo evitarlas no todos los días son buenos y no tienen que serlos. Y si bien no puedo evitar tener a veces estas minis batallas con mi cuerpo, no puedo evitar que surjan pero si puedo elegir como transicionarla y no siempre es igual a veces la solución más sana para mi bien estar es quedarme en casa si me siento muy vulnerable, a veces me pinta buscar a mis activistas favoritos y escucharlos un rato tipo mantra y otros me permito bardearme un rato por lo que me molesta y a cambio me regalo algo jajaja si no son las mejores soluciones del mundo pero son las formas en que siento que me cuido de estos pensamientos para no entrar en un bucle del mal de pensamientos horribles. Al final del día solo es una panza y lo sé es eso, pero tantos años significó tanto, me daba o quitaba valor dependiendo quien la mirara y pretendía esconderla a toda costa. Hoy vivo mostrando ¿quién lo diría? No siempre gano estas batallas pero cuando lo hago me saco esta clase de fotos y me parecen hermosas.

  • As a woman our bodies are constantly changing and something as a well fitted bra can make all the difference in helping us feel well supported and confident in our busy lives. I’m loving this message from @thepeninsulamumma who shared a little insight into what it means to find the perfect foundations. “These bad boy, puppies, tennis ball in a sock-esque boobs, breasts,boobies of mine have been through the ringer. As a teen they went from being a 10A to a 10DD - wait for it - IN SIX WEEKS! They’ve grown. then shrunk, then grown again through my battles with yo-yo dieting. They weighed roughly 673kg  each during pregnancy & while I was breastfeeding. And during their adult life have never got to live in a bra that fit properly. Seriously though, anyone else feel like their boobies have lived a life of their own? My something sweet today is this Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Nice Cream for lunch. 🙌
.
🍌 2 sliced & frozen bananas 🥜 Chocolate peanut butter cup protein powder (I used @drinkorgain simple)
🥛 A little bit of plant based milk( I used almond)

Added - chia seed, coconut chips(unsweetened), dark chocolate chips and raw cashews
.
It was a bit rich for me so next time I’ll use one scoop of powder. But it was still good. 😀 Also skip the chocolate chips for a refined sugar free option.

  • I wanted to talk to you about the rules of life. & the thing is there is NO rule book. There is nothing to say what you can and can't do and how you should and should not live your life. It's all choices you decide to make! 
I've just finished the book, 'Things no one will tell fat girls' from Jess Baker if you haven't I suggest reading it! Throughout the book she gives challenges to push the boundaries of what most curvy girls think they 'shouldn't' or 'can't' do because of their size.

So Ladies let me remind you there is NO rules on what we can and can't do. If you want to do something than do it! The reason these things became 'socially unacceptable' is because along the way we let it happen! This happened for all shapes and sizes not just curvy girls, we all experience this. 
Next time you're at the park and want to go on the swing, do it! It won't break, it might feel tight around the hips but that is simply because your hips grew as you became an adult! Dahhh. 
You want to do a bomb into a swimming pool, do it! The pool won't empty! Have you seen how much water it takes to fill a pool?

You want to wear a crop top or a bikini, do it!!! Who is the media or strangers to dictate what you wear and don't wear! Bloody hell there is NO way you will find me fully covered on an Australian 40 degree day! You'd be kidding yourself! 
So take this as a reminder, there is NO rulebook to life!

Do what makes you feel good,
Do what makes you light up,
Do what makes you happy,
Do what makes you confident! ✌🏻

STOP seeking perfection!

Perfectionism can be crippling❗️
.
Start a new diet on Monday then by Friday ..no willpower then fall off the wagon....binge😐 then beat yourself up for feeling like a failure 😭...that is F#%^ EXHAUSTING!
.
Aiming for perfection in any part of your life is just plain silly! We would never expect from our family or friends to be perfect so why do we place that pressure on ourselves?!
.
So imagine..placing only 10% for improvement instead? Imagine just letting go of the idea of perfection? And ALL the BS that it comes with and just focus on being a little better every day instead?🤔
.
Just eating a little better, just moving a little more, just being a little more mindful?
.
Stop ✋ aiming for perfection! If you want the chocolate 🍫...then eat it and enjoy it ...just know that 1-2 squares will give you the same satisfaction as 10 squares (I promise!) If you are focused on perfection and eat chocolate ..you’ll likely eat more then intended and feel like you “failed” your diet. BUT if you just try a little every day..like maybe 10% ...then you’d realize that eating that chocolate will NOT detour you from your goals and you will be able to stop after 1-2 pieces because you are in control.

Stop being afraid to fail. Stop being disappointed in yourself. Stop self sabotaging. Stop chasing perfection. Just STOP and START‼️

Start with what you have. Start with fear. Start with anxiety. Start where you are. Just START and don’t stop🧡

As I peel back the layers, I see all the ways I’ve mistreated and wounded my body.

Those layers expose all the places I get to listen to, heal and return to love.

Healing is not linear. It’s messy and beautiful.

  • Two of my biggest reasons for constantly working on my health and striving for better.  My two girls! ❤️❤️ Of course for my boys too but there is just something a little different about wanting to set an example for my girls and raising them to be confident and strong. ⠀

  • In honor of #nedawareness week 🧡 Recovery is a long road and every day is a step towards loving yourself and your body. I will admit it is still hard to be self accepting. I've struggled with a eating disorder more than half my life. But I have to keep telling myself that my body, any size and any shape is and never will be "wrong". I have to keep sharing my story and journey to help others who may feel alone and not understood. Instead, start learning the WHY behind these fluctuations, and you’ll realize how normal and common they are in anyone’s fitness journey. ⁣

Weight fluctuations don’t necessarily mean you’re doing something wrong. 💭⁣

They may mean: ⁣

❔You drank alcohol the day before ⁣
❔You ate more sodium than usual ⁣
❔You haven’t gone to the bathroom ⁣
❔You may be starting your period soon ⁣
❔Your sleep is suffering⁣

Your consistent daily actions means so much more than the number you see on the scale. ⁣
⁣
Switch your focus to: ⁣
🤍Falling in love with taking care of your body.⁣
🤍Falling in love with learning your bodies response to food and exercise. ⁣
🤍Falling in love with small daily wins, with being grateful for what is GOING RIGHT. ⁣

The scale won’t drop every day, or even every week - but before you know it, you’ve created a  life and body you LOVE. ⁣

The process is actually pretty damn cool, and you have a lot more to celebrate than you think 🎉⁣

  • So as promised, a review of this Sol De Janeiro Coco Cabana Cream (Cue Barry Manilow song) I managed to get quite a lot of my body covered in this stuff! Fair enough it was a bit thin on the ground when I got to my legs but hey! It’s only a sample! As soon as I opened this, the scent hit me, I have their lip balm which I love (and is fab!) So I was happy it was the same scent. It smells of coconut biscuits to me, not as in fake tan biscuit scent, but a proper bakery scent...I dunno 🤷🏼‍♀️ that’s just what I got. My skin felt really moisturised afterwards and it still feels really soft today, plus the scent stayed too! The good thing was that even though it really moisturised my skin, it was very light and sank in really quickly so I didn’t have to sit waiting to get dressed! I’d give this an 8/10.   • Good morning 🌞 the sun is out here in sthlm and I’m about to head out for my daily morning pw, I love to start my mornings with some exercising before eating breakfast. When I was younger I couldn’t start my day without breakie but now I can’t eat early in the mornings. It’s weird how some of your routines change with the years 😄 have a lovely Monday everyone!!

Könnt ihr das auch von euch behaupten ?
Es fällt einen schwer, denn es gibt so oft etwas, wenn man darüber nachdenken soll, was einen unzufrieden macht! Aber Schnuckis ... Hand aufs 💚 habt ihr mal drüber nachgedacht, womit ihr zufrieden seid? Und schwubb.... seid ihr nun glücklich ? Genau in diesem Moment ?

Es gibt so viele ☔️ Regentage und alles erscheint einen grau und dunkel. Aber schnapp dir ein Schirm und lauf los...
Und plötzlich verschwinden die Wolken und die Sonne ☀️ kommt raus ! .
Mach aus jeden Regentropfen einen positiven Sonnenstrahl ! 🌈 .
Was ich damit sagen will...halte an den Dingen fest, die dich glücklich machen, Erlebnisse, Freunde, Familie, Urlaub, dein Job, gute Noten, vielleicht auch ein neues Kleidungsstück im Schrank, Erfolg mit sich...

Ich fühle mich so wohl (Zufriedenheit), ich will mich gar nicht mehr verstecken. Wie lange saß ich in diesem Schneckehaus fest? Uff... eindeutig zu lang! Ja ich bin endlich motiviert, und ehrgeizig und glücklich, ich habe knappe -22kg abgenommen, habe hart dafür gearbeitet, ich habe meinen Humor wieder, meine Lust am Leben! Ich möchte nicht mehr jeden Tag rot einkringeln, an dem ich unglücklich war - sondern an denen ich mich wohl und glücklich gefühlt habe ! Ich bin absolut zufrieden mit mir und meiner Seele 💛
Und auch wenn ich über mein Edgar (Unterbauch) manchmal traurig bin, dass er mich begleitet und oft mein Erscheinungsbild verzerrt, so gehört er nun mal zu mir ! Er schrumpft...aber er wird mich niemals verlassen, denn er hinterlässt seine Spuren. Die Spuren, die zu meinem Leben gehören - ein Freund meines Körpers! #selbstliebe .

  • Mehr Körperakzeptanz durch Tattoos? 💉

Dellen an den Oberschenkeln, weiche Oberarme, Tigerstreifen am Bauch, ungleiche Brüste, krumme Füße, Narben oder ähnliche oft als Makel angesehene Dinge...können wir uns damit besser fühlen, wenn wir die Stellen sogar betonen?
.
Natürlich kann ich hier nur für mich sprechen und meine Erfahrungen mit euch teilen, aber für mich ist die direkte Konfrontation mit einer Stelle an meinem Körper, die ich vielleicht nicht sooo gern mag, genau der richtige Weg. Das bedeutet nicht, dass jede Stelle die tätowiert wurde eine Stelle ist die mir früher Kopfschmerzen bereitet hat 😅 aber davon gibt es welche! Angefangen hat das damals mit meinen Oberschenkeln...Vor meiner starken Abnahme 2013 hätte ich keine kurzen Hosen getragen. Die ersten Kilos sind gepurzelt und eins war klar -> die Belohnung wird ein bunter Oberschenkel und der soll gesehen werden! .
Ähnlich mit den Füßen...Hand aufs Herz...die Mehrheit der Menschen hasst Füße 🤣 Die eigenen geht grad noch, bei anderen Füßen wird’s schwierig 🙈 aber offene Schuhe sind einfach großartig #birkenstockliebe 🥰 Also los -> Farbe auf die Füße und raus damit an die Sonne 😁

Wie ihr wisst habe ich mir Ende des letzten Jahres das Dekolleté von der großartigen @nadine.mii tätowieren lassen. Ein großer Schritt, meine Brüste und ich sind bis heute nicht die besten Freunde, aber nun trage ich Ausschnitt und bin auf dem besten Weg Frieden zu schließen 💜

Mir persönlich hilft es also sehr den Fokus auf die Stellen zu legen, die mir objektiv nicht so gut gefallen. So gib ich mir die Chance diese Stellen mit einem anderen Blick zu betrachten und Liebe zu empfinden 🥰
