  • This time of month I always put on about 5-10lbs. Women this is normal! Which is why you shouldn’t weigh yourself all the time. Our bodies fluctuate weight naturally multiple times a month. My best suggestion if you want to see an accurate trend in your weight is to step on the scale once a month, in the morning, around the day of your period. This will be your lightest weight of the month since your hormones are starting to go back to normal and your uterus swelling has already gone down. BUT- this is my ovulation week. The highest weight of the month for me. The reason I’m posting my weight is because I haven’t weighed myself in almost 2 months! I had been stuck and to fixated on the number instead of how I felt. Today, I just felt like I should just take a glance.. well damnit I broke the plateau I was in for 8 months, I was out of the gym for 10 days for being sick, and ate like an asshole while I was sick because I used it as an excuse.... but, damn am I proud of myself.. you know why?! Just because I screwed up for 2 weeks it didn’t magically screw up all my hard work. If anything I’d been on the go and strict with myself that my body probably needed me to enjoy life a little. So, enjoy life. Don’t worry about the number on the scale. Have the damn cupcake 🧁 if you’ve busted ass all week. Don’t be so hard on yourself 😘😍🥰
