For me, it’s helped clear my mind, given me insane amounts of energy, helped with my mood, and my back isn’t hurting anymore. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve dropped 12.2lbs, lost 7inches from 3 key areas of my body (bust, waist and hips) which means I’m fitting back into my favorite jeans without looking like a busted can of biscuits! 😆🙌🏼 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You know what else I’ve noticed, I don’t dread working out anymore! I actually look forward to it and get pissed at myself when I miss a workout! I’ve also noticed that my kids are joining in more and more and they are having fun right along side of me! #winning ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

But damn it sure is a nice side effect.
It's about what you FEEL like. What you feel like makes you seek out change and keeps you going when it gets tough.

I felt terrible when I woke up every morning and my body was giving me signs to change something. I felt run down, lazy, lost, and unmotivated. I felt unloved and unwanted from my own self. It was my own discontent and unhappiness that told me I had to start taking care of myself.

At first it was hard -just like everything else you've never done before. But each day I woke up and felt better than the last. My body was being fueled by the correct foods and being challenged by my workouts. My body was finally getting what it needed and it FELT awesome.

I was feeling happy, motivated, and healthy again. This poured over to other areas in my life. I started to take control of my life again. I FEEL great every day that I wake up because the girl that was feeling unhappy, lost, and unmotivated made a decision to change and followed through. I'm so thankful for her. The girl that thought she couldn't change anything but did anyways. The girl that decided it's time to start loving herself. She's the real MVP because her decision to change her reality got me here. I want you to know you aren't alone. There are thousands of us feeling like I felt and now that I'm on the other side I want to take you with me! Change is possible so stop doubting yourself and do the damn thing!

  • Woke up this morning feeling like I had the worse hangover ever - despite not drinking a drop of alcohol last night 🤷🏻‍♀️ .
Head pounding, dry mouth, hot, pulse racing....having consulted dr google, I think I have been overdoing the exercise over the last couple of weeks 😕 I started my own workout plan which was for 6 days per week, it was fine for the first week but last week I did some overtime at work and was playing catchup with the exercise cos I was tired but eventually got it all in late last night and  I think this is what has made me feel so shite today. I've been grumpy and tired all week. I'm stressing cos I've got so much work to do and also stressing cos I won't get my workouts in if I'm at work more!! .
I've now planned to reduce the number of days working out and condensed the workouts a bit and hopefully that will help. I subsequently took a rest day today... tho I don't really consider all day cleaning much of a rest! 🙄

Apparently you can suffer food and exercise hangovers. Anyone else ever experienced this??? .

  • Ever feel like your body just needs to hit the reset button? Not anything crazy, just something to dejunkify your body.

That is how I have been feeling lately! My eating hasn’t been the greatest, and my body is telling me it is time for a cleanse to reset the healthy habits.

I’m not one that can stick to one long term crazy cleanse. Those just aren’t for me. However, a 3-day cleanse is completely doable for me. 
I absolutely love this cleanse because by day 3 or 4 I feel completely amazing! The stomach upset and bloating is gone, and I am sleeping better. Some of the ladies in one of my groups have lost upwards of 6 pounds in 𝕛𝕦𝕤𝕥 𝕥𝕙𝕣𝕖𝕖 𝕕𝕒𝕪𝕤! As if that wasn’t great enough look at the added benefits! -Focuses on the whole body
-Can jumpstart a healthier diet plan
-Improved sleep
-Increased energy
-Effectively curb cravings
-Quick way to shred 3-5 pounds

Do you feel better or worse when you finished those 3 loads of laundry, and everything is folded and put away? Do you feel better or worse when you’ve got 5 minutes before leaving for work but you know coming home to a made bed makes you feel like a million bucks so you take the 2 minutes to do it?

Taking the time for yourself to make things feel better will always trump how crappy you might feel in the process. Keep your eye on the prize. Continue to focus on why you started and how you’re gonna feel when you’re done. You have to convince yourself why it’s the best thing for you more than you have to convince your Aunt Peg. And it’s freaken hard. It’s taken me a ridiculously disgusting amount of time to figure these things out (like my whole life..). I want to help you get there faster!

  • 2016 (left) vs 2019 (right) 💪🏻 In the photo on the left I was recovering after becoming highly obsessed with losing weight (at my peak I managed to lose -50kgs but also developed Body Dysmorphic Disorder). I ended up gaining all the weight I originally lost plus more. On the right I’ve managed to overcome the ‘scales obsession’ and have learnt to live my life as healthy as i can. In my eyes, comparing these two different periods allows me see the difference between a ‘diet’ & ‘lifestyle change’. You cannot diet forever or you will set yourself up to fail. It needs to be something that you can incorporate into your life for the rest of your life 🌷 Along side this I’ve decided to add fat freezing into my routine (as most of you already know) to try and avoid falling into old habits (unhealthily restricting my calorie intake and increasing my gym routine to shift these stubborn fat cells). I’m quiet confident I have the mental capability to not end up back in the position I was once in but at this current time I’m beyond happy with what I eat, how much I exercise, what I’ve achieved and how my treatments with @bodycontourstudio are going 🥰🌷#weightloss #comparison #gymmotivation #weightlosstransformation #weightlossjourney #lifestylechange #mentalhealth #fatfreezing
