  • On February 15, 2020, the Vocation Animation Team of Don Bosco School (Manila) held the local Life Direction Encounter v.2.0. There were 5 young ladies who are in search for their vocation in life who responded to the invitation. #LessTALKmoreWALK, following the theme of the previous encounter, Sr. Vena deepened on the awareness of being immensely loved by God that leads to the realization of one’s specific vocation. Afterwards, Sr. Peachy shared to the group her vocation journey encapsulated in three words: “Ordinary, Millennial, and God’s Beloved”. They had the time to freely ask and express their questions that had led to a deep sharing of life and experiences.

Failure happens
Yesterday (day 7) I failed. At best I did 3 or 4 of the list and half assed it. I just did enough to make me feel like I did something. LISTEN this shit happens. The ones on top fail all the time. Its what you do after. Today I had to play catch up. Today I had to go super hard. Today I had to look in the mirror and take accountability. Nobody else is control of your actions, nobody else can control your future. Fix what you can control amd give the rest to God. Day 8 was my B^%$

Find what motivates you.
Today was one of those days where I had to fight the temptation to drink a soda, eat bad, skip a day. I had plently of valid excuses. But none of them had anything to do with my goals. None of the excuses motivated me. What motivates me?
My motivation is on my arms. To honor my brother, and provide for my family. My goals are pretty hefty for both. I cant do either if I take days off, I got to stay motivated.

Don't worry about going from 0 to 100 when it comes to were you are and were you want to me. 0 to 10 then 10 to 20 then 20 to 30 then 30 to 40 and so on and so on until you get to 100 then go 100 to 110 and so on. This isnt a race. Build sustainable habits through gradual progression. Truste if you dont give up even when you fall off track you will see the results. Its all in your mind.

Up first on #lunesdelibros (Books on Mondays in Spanish) is RE-WORK.

Summarized:
Really enjoyed it. They go an inch deep in a wide range of topics from culture, hiring, marketing, operations, etc. Written by the founders of Basecamp, a widely used communication/collaboration tool software. This company generates millions in sales a year, with a very straightforward product, manned by a team of 12, all of which work remote. 
If you despise the typical office culture of things like unnecessary meetings, layers of bureaucracy, more time spent planning than executing, this will resonate with you. 
More importantly, the biggest takeaway from this book is you definitely need a heck of a lot less than you think you do to start that passion project or business you've been dreaming about for years.

My first challenge the •WELSH 3000• 16 Peaks in 24hours is in ~ 10 x DAYS ~

I have been training hard this last month (with an injury 🙈) Running out of work on an evening to reach a summit before sunset, descending in to complete darkness and scrambling up sheer ridges early dawn before sunrise.

This challenge has opened my eyes, to the number of incredible peaks we have available to us. I have completely fallen in love with our mountains again. Each hike brings me more determined, to share with you the access we have available to our summits. Access should be available to all to see our beautiful mountains and lakes. Our planet is truly incredible and it’s right on our doorstep. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
