  • Virginia Beach is our home, and we will stand strong together to make it through this horrible tragedy that has fallen upon our city. Prayers and strength to all the people affected by this awful event today, all the family and friends of people lost, and to the first responders that responded to this terrible scene today. 💔 #virginiabeach #virginiabeachstrong #vbems #kvrs #kvrsrescue9

  • Hoje superei mais um obstáculo😬Tinha pavor de nadar no rio, pensava que não daria conta por ser iniciante no nado... mas, como sempre digo, nossos maiores inimigos estão dentro de nós. Temos que travar uma batalha interna e GRITAR: EU POSSO! EU SOU CAPAZ! E não desistir!!! Então galerinha.. sem medo de ser feliz superem seus medos, ultrapasse seus limites e é claro, DEUS no comando de tudo sempre!! Tio @flademirfreitas obrigada por mais essa conquista.   • It's a momentous time in Courthouse Rescue history. In this episode of #Re5cueLife, please join the Courthouse Rescue family in welcoming ambulance 522 to service. Just another ambulance on the streets? To some, maybe, but to the #Rescue5 family this ambulance means much more. The loss of 521 to theft last April left our squad with two ambulances to cover both of our stations 5 and 21 (day shift & night shift, 365 days a year) as well as various events in the community we serve: all Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater concerts, all Hunt Club Farm events, the annual Pungo Strawberry Festival, and all show and tells and standbys we provide medical coverage or community education for when requested. The addition of 522 to our fleet provides us with a considerable amount of peace of mind that we will not have to worry as much about being able to cover everything. With that being said, we would like to thank our brother/sister rescue squads in Virginia Beach for lending us ambulances when we needed them. Ocean Park Volunteer Rescue Squad, Kempsville Volunteer Rescue Squad, Blackwater Volunteer Rescue Squad, Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad, Plaza Volunteer Rescue Squad, and Sandbridge Volunteer Rescue Squad ... we can't thank you enough. Because of your generosity, we were able to cover duty shifts and special events when we were down a truck, sometimes two. This just goes to show we are one team with one mission: to be there for the citizens of Virginia Beach when they need us most. We look forward to serving you even further, Virginia Beach!
