  • Pesto and Goat Cheese Pepper Bites. * Preheat oven to 4oo degrees.
* Slice mini bell peppers in half and remove stem and seeds. * Place in a large bowl and toss with pesto, olive oil and balsamic vinegar reduction.
* Place peppers on a baking sheet and place into oven. Bake for 15 minutes.
* Mix goat cheese in same bowl incorporating leftover pesto and balsamic. * Take peppers out and carefully add crumbled goat cheese mixture to insides of pepper halves.
* Place back into oven and broil for another 3-5 minutes or until goat cheese is melted and golden.

  • One of the coolest restaurants in Raleigh, @whiskey.kitchen 🥃 I always love coming here when I visit Raleigh. Such a cool ambience and awesome industrial aesthetics. Red Wolf and I shared their special, Whiskey Steak and Boiled Peanuts. All of us (Red Wolf, Soul Wolf [sister], Silver Fox, and myself) shared a Chef’s Board, and we all got an Old Fashioned. To top off the evening, we got our caricatures done!

  • Took my parents out to brunch. Decided to go to a place we've never been to. This is located at St. John's Town Center where Mimi's Cafe used to be. I was trying to get there before it started to get busy, but we waited about 30 mins.

My parents food is not pictured because they started eating when they put the plates down. My dad got Atlantic Salmon & my mom got Grilled Chicken Salad. I got the Chicken & Waffles & a mimosa. Didn't really care for the mimosa. We all shared the Pecan Pie because they didn't have the dump cake.

I'd go again to try some other things on their menu.

  • We are enjoying our Raleigh, NC pig out tour. Feeling gangsta at @lynnwoodbrewing 😎 This was such a cool brewery! Love the industrial look, happy cool vibes, cute doggos that you are allowed to bring, and of course the awesome delicious beers. Definitely, a cool place to check out in Raleigh 🤙

  • The Sneak peek dinner @pratiitaliajax last night was everything I knew it was going to be! Having been a big fan and frequent diner of Moxie, I was sad to hear they were changing the concept. However, I knew whatever they were going to do next was going to be amazing...and it was! Pictured: •Seared Scallops- pancetta, escarole, rosemary potatoes and almond salsa. •Tagliolini- local shrimp, calamari, pickled pepper, Calabrian chili oil and lemon. •Crispy Lasagne- bolognese, provolone, Parmesano, marinara, garlic cream sauce, fresh herbs. •Gnocchi- oxtail ragù, truffle butter, Parmesano. They open to the public today, start regular hours- serving lunch on Monday and brunch starts next weekend!

  • Had a much needed visit to @sipperscoffeehouse this weekend. Their breakfast croissant sandwiches and iced coffee are a must have! They easily have over 25 flavors to spice up your coffee with! My favorites are a classic egg and cheese sandwich paired with an iced vanilla latte 🥐☕️

  • Got a sneak peek @pratiitaliajax tonight! Started off with some cocktails and apps. Pictured here: A couple of “Sure Things”- Tito’s, Creme Yvette, pear shrub, Angostura Orange, Fee Brothers peach bitters and lemon juice. Frito Misto- calamari, shrimp, lemon, rapini, garlic sauce and marinara on the side. Arancini- crispy Arborio rice, roasted mushrooms, provolone and truffle aioli. Great start!👍🏼👍🏼

We’re doing it! We have a vegan restaurant in Jacksonville, of all places, as others joke to us. The change we have the opportunity to pave makes every step worth it.
