We left the fast pace of life behind us for a week and learned the importance of going slow.
Our industry tells us to push harder, make sacrafices, experience some physical hardship and go beyond our comfort zone. Don't get me wrong, there is value to doing this at certain times but life pushes us to live fast and on a schedule.
We are in danger of burning the candle at both ends without balance. There must be a ying to the yang, a low to the high, a night to the day, so when you can....pause... and take a moment to yourself.
The best things in life are not things. We get one shot at this life. Make it count.

Sleep at least 8 hours per night. It’s one of the most anabolic things you can do for your body. One study by Penev et al. found that men who slept for ~4 hours had an average of 200-300 ng/dL testosterone levels in serum. Guys who slept for ~8 hours had levels closer to 500-700 ng/dL.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Have sex! Studies show massive increases in testosterone in men when they’re having sex, or on nights where they know sex is going to occur. So have lots of it. Get off porn and have some damn sex with your lady! Anakin did this with Padme and look how that worked out!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

- Not been on massively on my game lately..
Decided I'd jot up a little weekly to do list to get myself back at it, and thought how can I make myself accountable to this?
It's a large part of the reason I started this page, put myself out there, keep myself accountable..
It's easy to sneak those delicious biscuits in the back room when you know no ones watching 🤷♂️
(👆 Trust me on that one.. Had my fair share of custard creams or mikados in the dark back kitchen....)
And whilst no one else may know, you'll know and the scales will know... you filthy animal 🤷♂️😂
So that's my little to do list for the week..
Imma do it..

- I just made a fresh batch of jalapeño & red pepper hummus for the week. 😊 I love this with salads, on crackers, added to buddha bowls or as a dip. It’s so tasty and easy to make! 😁
2 tins of chickpeas
1 red pepper
Half of a jalapeño
About a quarter cup of water
2 teaspoons of sweet paprika
1 teaspoon of ground cumin
Juice of 2 lemons
Pinch of salt
I baked the red pepper & jalapeño together in my air fryer for about 10mins at 180 degrees celsius. I squeezed the lemons & added the juice and the rest of the ingredients to my food processor and blended until smooth. When the peppers were done I allowed them to cool off and then I added them to my food processor and blended everything together.
I sometimes make bigger batches and freeze it too and it works fine. 😊

- Leg/core Routine 💥💥💥💥💥💥 .
Goblet squat 3 sets x 8 reps
Single leg deadlift 3 sets x 8 reps
walking lunges 60 steps in total.
roll outs 3 sets x 12 reps.
This routine is such good routine because of the equipment needed,one dumbell and an ab wheel.
A goblet squat is a great exercise for grooving the squat pattern,it makes you open the hips and keep the chest tall once you keep the dumbell in tight against the chest.
Single leg deadlifts are a brilliant exercise,they bring in a few different skills,stability,co-ordination and hip strength is a big factor aswell.
is it too late get in shape for summer ? Train as hard as you can and have a good diet for the next 4 weeks and see how you get on,i would say you will be in better shape than if you don't do it...
