People management is a very common term that is not only being used in the world of business, but in a daily life as well, and is representing a very important factor in almost every communication and relationship between people. Mutual comprehension and tolerance can very often, if not almost always be the key to a business deal, relationship level-up, but also motivational improvement and therefore a better or higher performance too.

Each individual has their own map of strategies and techniques on how to manage their leadership and the working atmosphere, however we want to share with you some of the most common and usual points that you should consider and pay attention to.

  • It's a fact that we are in a very difficult situation when it comes to the environmental state of our planet, because of all the consequences of the climate change and global warming, that are just starting to show us their power. People all over the world organize demonstrations and protests in order to be heard and understood when it comes to their concern about our home-planet. Thousands of people are marching through the capitals of European cities, trying to draw the attention of everyone and announce the last call for the major changes that have to be made in our relationship with our planet, in order to save it from the damage that is threating us.

The United Nations suggests that climate change is not just the defeating issue of our time, but we are also at a defeating moment in history. Weather patterns are changing and will threaten food production, and sea levels are rising and could cause catastrophic flooding across the globe.

  • Education is the birth of knowledge, and knowledge is probably the single most powerful weapon you can have. All over the world, education represents a different thing for people, but we can all agree on the fact that education is necessary for all of us and there can never be too much of it.
Education represents the road to the constant self-improvement, self-development, but also self-discovery. While learning about different subjects and topics not only our brain will develop better and faster, but also our mind will be more open and so allow us to understand our environment better and develop a higher level of resepect and tolerance, not only towards others, but towards ourselves as well.

According to UNICEF‘s January 2012 report, all children must have access to primary education that is free, compulsory and of good quality. Educating children will help in many ways to reduce the poverty, by giving the next generations the tools to fight poverty and conquer disease.

Many countries have committed themselves to more than the achievement of universal primary education. They are also looking at expanding universal education by including several years of secondary education and a new basic education.

  • Researchers from Sweden, Germany, Brazil and the USA have designed a financial mechanism to support the protection of the world's natural heritage. In a recent study, they developed three different design options for an intergovernmental biodiversity financing mechanism.
Asking what would happen if money was given to countries for providing protected areas, they simulated where the money would flow, what type of incentives this would create -- and how these incentives would align with international conservation goals.
After long negotiations, the international community has agreed to safeguard the global ecosystems and improve on the status of biodiversity.
According to the lead author Nils Droste from Lund University in Sweden, human well-being depends on ecological life support. However, we are constantly losing biodiversity and therefore the resilience of ecosystems. At the international level, there are political goals, but the implementation of conservation policies is a national task. There is no global financial mechanism that can help nations to reach their biodiversity targets.
The global conservation goals for 2020, called the Aichi targets, are an ambitious hallmark. Yet, effective implementation is largely lacking. Biodiversity is still dwindling at rates only comparable to the last planetary mass extinction. "We know that we need to change land use in order to preserve biodiversity. Protecting land from degradation and providing healthy ecosystems, clean air or clean rivers is a function of the state. Giving a financial reward to governments for such public ecosystem services will ease the provision of corresponding conservation efforts and will help to put this on the agenda." concludes Nils Droste.

  • Raising children is not all fun and games, especially nowadays, in the environment and the world we live in. Untill the age of 2 or 3, people play with children, parents carry them in their hands or trolley, they buy them toys and provide them with lots of entertainment. They sing them to sleep, bath them every night before going to sleep, take them to parks... They provide them with all the care they need and make sure there is no worry present in the life of their children. Do you observe children in your environment? What do you notice first? What about their relationship with the parrents?
Do the parrents have the control under their children nowadays?
Wait-is that an Ipad in the hands of your 1 year old child?
Did you know that the parents in Nigeria send their kids to schools at the age of 1? They start to learn about alphabet and numbers at the age of 1. Yes, they start talking at that age too-talking, not just the FIRST WORD. Do they develop earlier, or were they actually raised to develop earlier? But then again, how can they develop that fast if they have no Ipads and phones, TVs and computers, what about all the technology?
In Nigeria, 90% of 2-year-old children can wash themselves, 75% can buy things, and 39% can wash their own dishes.
The main principle there is not to waste a lot of time on child rearing and to be a good role model. At a very early age they learn how to survive alone in their surrounding, they have major responsabilities and know very well what those mean. They have rules, limits and they have to obey them. No complaining, no exceptions. And yet-they smile. They go to school, they read books, they might not have even a third of what most of children have nowadays in their whole childhood-but they know how to appreciate what they have. Their face tells a sad story, but their laugh sings a happy song.

  • A british politician Winston Churchill said : "Success is going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm"
How often did you lose great deals,
just because you were not persistent enough?
How often did you miss great opportunities,
just because you lacked belief in your own potencial?
How often did you stop dreaming big,
just because you had one nightmare?
The crucial factor in success is self-discipline.
Discipline means choosing between what you want now and what you want most. It means understanding what you need to do in order to succeed and finding the strength within you to keep on untill you succeed no matter how many obstacles you face.
The scars don't represent your weakness, scars represent your strength that made you survive whatever tried to bring you down. Everyone will experience failure sometimes, but what matters is what you do when that happens. What matters is if you get up when you fall, or you stay on the ground.
If you can transform your failure to your motivation and a new lesson, you will guarantee yourself that you will finally succeed.

  • Stress is a very common and present emotion in our everyday life, that very often has the power to transform not only our daily routines, our mood, relationships or career, but also our whole life and its length. Corelating with many deseases that it can produce and strong influences that it may introduce to our life, stress has mainly negative reputation.
The question that we here almost every day and almost everywhere is: How to build stress resilience and take the control of it?
When it comes to stress, we are much more resilient than we actually think that we are. We are naturally capable of dealing with most of what life prepares for us and challenges it send to us. People deal with stress and negative events in many different ways and while most of the time the very first reation we experience while dealing with stress is anxiety, blame or fear, stress resilience means having a positive response to stress, known as mature defense, according to American psychiatrist and professor of Harvard Medical School-George Eman Vaillant.
As reported by Vaillant, resilience is a positive adaptive feature that can be learned and developed. The crucial factor here is the definition of stress; depending on what we understand as stress determines the presence of stress in our life.
Those who observe stress as a challenge and the opportunity to grow and evolve learn to avoid stresfull circumstances and generate motivational approach and will for action rather than escape and ’victim mentality’. The starting point is understanding what and why we feel while experiencing stress. Once we understand where do those negative emotions come from, we are able to develop the internal locus of control. Our toughts become our actions, and our actions become our life. It’s important to detox your mind too every now and then, and not only your body, since the mind is the birth of everything. Take care of yourself and your toughts better. You are your home, so try to make it a place that you are always happy to go to.

  • Almost 73.000 fires were recorded between January and August 2019. while in all of 2018 that number was 39.759, according to the report from the National Institute for Space Research (INPE). Thar makes an 83% increase over the same period last year and is the highest since INPE records began in 2013.
Satellite cameras spotted more than 9,500 new forest fires since Thursday, mostly in the Amazon basin, where the world's largest tropical forest lays and which is vital to slowing the pace of global warming.
The smoke, combined with clouds and a cold front (it's winter in the Southern Hemisphere), led to the midnight-like darkness in São Paulo, The Washington Post reported. The fires are largely burning in northern Brazil and have prompted the Brazilian state of Amazonas to declare a state of emergency.
"Wildfires in the Amazon are not natural events but are instead caused by a combination of droughts and human activities," researchers of a 2018 study in the journal Nature Communications wrote in The Conversation.

  • Traveling is considered as one of the most common sources of happiness but planing a trip surely isn't all fun & games! Dates, budget limits, itinerary but most important-company,all those boxes have to be checked. Many people consider company the most important factor for traveling, but what happens when you can't find the right company? Delay it? How about a solo trip? Traveling has being proved to have many benefits, not only in health but also in the process of self-discovery and self-consciousness. Traveling with someone is fun,but traveling solo can take you to the next level & help you create some unforgetable & certainly one of a kind memories! Developing self-confidence & the capability to adapt to new situations & surroundings, inner peace, the feeling of freedom & self-exploring: taking a trip with your own self will help you achieve that. Besides, many statistics have shown that those who travel solo have experienced more courage to meet new people while traveling & actually establishing some long lasting cintacts. Not only that, people who travel solo tend to experience the feeling of independence and curiousity on a much higher level than those who travel with someone. So,where to start?
°Pick a focus on your trip! What is your goal, what do you want to see, what would you like to experience? With a bit of research you can find a country that can be a perfect fit!
°Be a traveler, not a tourist! Free yourself from tourist attractions, don't make it your priority, the real story happens when you feel like home! Visit some local places, let the culture get to you, allow yourself to get to know the real story!
°Take a book with you! This is an adventure where lots of inspiration will be present, use this opportunity to the maximum and enjoy it with your favorite author! °Use social media to get in touch with people around you,get to know the places and activities that you might consider interesting & appealing.
°Go on a tour! If you want to know the city from the inside: you have to approach it from the outside. Be free to try new things!

  • In a world where we face new inventions everyday, many people might come to the point where they ask themselves: Where do I find the inspiration to make a creation?
We want to share with you some of the best advices on how to make the first step, coming from the CEOs and Founders of the leading companies in the world.
-Steve Jobs-
"Get closer than ever to your customers. So close that you tell them what they need well before they realize it themselves."
"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it."
"Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn't really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while."
-Jeff Bezos-
"I don't think that you can invent on behalf of customers unless you're willing to think long-term, because a lot of invention doesn't work. If you're going to invent, it means you're going to experiment, and if you're going to experiment, you're going to fail, and if you're going to fail, you have to think long term."
"No matter what your mission is, have some notion in your head. Forget the model, whether it's government or nonprofit or profit. Ask yourself the more important question: Is my mission improving the world? Are you sure about it? Seek to disconfirm that all the time. And if you can, change your mission."
-Elon Musk-
"The first step is to establish that something is possible; then probability will occur."
"I could either watch it happen or be a part of it."
"Failure is an option here. If things are not failing, you are not innovating enough."
"Starting and growing a business is as much about the innovation, drive, and determination of the people behind it as the product they sell." #infocusmagazine #business #success #lifestyle #travel #events
