  • Perfectly trimmed half sleeves and a back zip for the bodice redefine sophistication in this empire cut attire. The solid colours are further elevated by the artsy marigold print dupatta emblazoned with poppy tassels. Be the heap of sunshine for this gloomy world. ♥️

  • Every piece of clothing in your wardrobe might have a story — the way it got into your wardrobe out of all the collection that’s out there, people you went to shop with, the day that you went to shop for it or simply deleting every other item on your online shopping cart just to buy the one lucky piece that won your heart.... everything is a memory to cherish! This dress too has its story!

Like most children, I used to shop for branded clothes — with all the pocket money that I used to save, the “blessing” money from relatives and elders in the family gave during festivals (don’t we all like that part, how much ever we resent being around relatives?), and money from the freelancing work that I did. However, most of the times my parents took me for shopping and paid for my clothes, until I could afford this dress, after I found myself a decent job and was confident enough that I could spend money on things I wanted, without feeling guilty. So this dress really marked the day that I knew I had to push myself to achieve more if I had to own things I wished for! Though this might not be the most fashion forward piece of clothing I own, I will always be proud of this!
