  • We have a very deep rooted love for folk arts and one of our dreams was to have Indian Folk art wall murals in Hong Kong where Memeraki founder @yosh2012 lives. Here's a throwback to Feb this year when the talented Warli artists @vayeda_brothers @tushar_vayeda @mayur_vayeda travelled to Hong Kong courtesy the collaboration with @hkwalls @indiabythebay @ojasart and Teamworkarts to create two beautiful wall murals at @kneadhk and @rapha HK. As always with folk art the story behind these murals was beautiful :
According to Warli belief, the three Goddesses - Kansari (Goddess of seeds- seeds of all life), Dhartari (Goddess of Earth / Mother Earth) and Gaotari ( Goddess of animals) , they are dependent on each other for the world to exist, thus wonderfully depicting the interconnectedness of life.

Thank you @streetartorama for the wonderful videos capturing the intricate details of warli art.
