Back from holiday and so motivated!
A week away from everything, mentally more than anything, had really reset how I feel. Time for goals! 🔹Going to eat at maintenance or at a slight deficit (nothing major).
🔹4 training days a week.
🔹2 cardio, can be HIIT but doesn't have to be if not feeling it.
🔹 Going to really push to increase my weight or reps/ sets of each exercise each week.
🔹Aim to be in bed by 9pm consistently. Taking time off and fully recovering for a change has reminded me of how much less stressed I can feel.
🔹Drink 3ltrs of water - pretty good at this one already.
🔹Track how many weeks I've been exercising for, so that I always take a week off every 8-10 - resting is now a priority, as I need it mentally despite the fact that exercise stabilises my mental health.
🔹 I also played with upping my fats about 2 weeks ago, and my body is thanking me. My skin is improving, I've had few digestive problems and I just feel so much better. I have been showing signs of poor insulin sensitivity for some time and after reading that upping fats might help, I've just been reaping the benefits.
So I'm going to actively up my fats, not to as far as a keto diet (mainly because I bloody love my carbs) because I want a sustainable change that works for me and makes me feel good.
🔹I also need to limit weighing myself, still a habit that's hard to break. I don't necessarily want to loose weight, I don't so much care what it is but it's a compulsion I need to break. Sure I want to be more lean and have better muscle definition, so I need to gain muscle and loose fat - but that will come in time, I don't want to rush it. If it takes me another year so be it. I don't so much want to be a bigger size that I am now l, I just want the composition to be different. But I'll get there.
🔹 Learn to intuitively eat. Now this one is going to take the most amount of time, once I've got used to the portion sizes from upping my fats. I don't want to worry the whole time because I haven't tracked my macros and don't know where I stand. After 12 years of tracking everything I eat, this one will take the most amount of time.

Ieri sono andato a visitare il quartiere de “La Boca”, la parte di Buenos Aires dove più si respira l’aria della vera Argentina. 
Tra le casette colorate (che si concentrano soprattutto intorno stradina chiamata “El Caminito”), i campi di calcio in cemento decorati da murales, i bambini che corrono per le vie del quartiere e l’odore di “parrilla” sembra veramente di essere tornati anni e anni indietro. .
Può sembrare un discorso banale, ma veramente queste realtà ti fanno capire che molto spesso le nostre preoccupazioni sono in realtà molto futili e non necessarie per essere felici e vivere sereni.

Semplicità, famiglia, unione e fede sono i concetti che ho riscontrato essere i più importanti in questa realtà. Tutto ció si manifesta nel tifo per la squadra del Boca, quasi come fosse una vera e propria religione.
.
Si tratta decisamente di un luogo unico al mondo che consiglio a chiunque prima o poi di visitare.
