  • im killing the lunch l🥗🥗ks today!! my avocados are FINALLY ripe it’s been like three days i think im going thru avo withdrawals 😱🥑and ive got some leftover steak from last nights dinner to dice up into my salad at work today, and ive got allllll the nuts (i did a 10k run this morning so im gearing up to EAT 🤗): brazil nuts, almonds, pecans, walnuts, pistachios all tossed w raisins and apricots 🤗 and finally some scd yogurt!! have a productive ass day✨⚠️

  • Andrew and I have long subscribed to meal-prepping: we make big batches of choice staples in advance- like roasted and grilled vegetables, a stew, spatchcock chicken or broiled salmon, brown rice etc. etc.- for easy munching throughout busier workweeks. Now adding preschool to our mix and wanting morning ease + more time at our table instead of in our kitchen, we’ve started implementing this same practice with breakfasts 💫😌 • These make-ahead, #LowFODMAP + Family Friendly Activated Oats have been on repeat, repeat, repeat (for all of us!) and are made from only seven nourishing, belly filling, yummy ingredients: oats, almond, coconut, chia, banana, milk, vanilla.   • Hepi Tuesdeiiii pemirsa! Hari kedua bangun subuh subuh itu rasanya gimanaaaa gitu... beneran susah banget, mau ke dapur aja musti nyeret badan banget.. jalan keluar kamar sempat kepentok pinggiran pintu, abis masih setengah merem gitu kan 😂😂

You know what, pemirsa.. Emak ngga langsung terjun ke dapur terus berjibaku masak loh. Setiap pagi sebelum mulai aktifitas apapun, emak selalu menyempatkan diri untuk duduk tenang dalam diam sambil nyeruput teh. Ini semacam “me time” gitu buat emak. Seharian nanti kan emak bakal bertarung lah ya istilahnya, ngurusin anak, suami, rumah, kerjaan, arisan.🤭😂 .

Dengan meluangkan waktu sejenak untuk diri sendiri begini, emak kayak lagi ngecharge jiwa, pemirsa.. supaya tetap tenang sepanjang hari, tetap woles, tetap adem.. Karena ngurusin anak itu sangat menuntut pikiran, waktu dan tenaga, Apalagi ngurusin suami 🙄😂 belum lagi membagi waktu dan pikiran juga untuk urusan rumah dan kerjaan. Jadi stamina mental dan fisik harus prima terus supaya semua lancar. Mengurus keluarga itu penting, tapi mengurus diri sendiri juga sangat penting ya pemirsa, karena emak yang bahagia akan menjadikan rumah dan keluarga yang bahagia. 😊

🍚 nasi salmon isi sosis pake hagoromo decofuri (sausage stuffed salmon rice using hagoromo decofuri)
🍤 udang lilit mie (shrimp wrapped in fried noodles)
🌽 jagung rebus (boiled corn)
🥩 daging dan bokchoy tumis lada (stir-fried pepper beef and bokchoy)
🥭 mangga (mango)
🍥 kuping gajah (Indonesian chips)

Hoy, por ejemplo, estoy segura que el pudín de chocolate va a ser su desayuno y parte de su güicoy va a venir de vuelta en la lonchera (¡nunca a la basura!) menos mal sé que no lleva azúcar y todos los ingredientes aportan nutrición.

La comida no es ni un premio ni un castigo y el azúcar no va en la lonchera.

    Fui maestra de Kinder por trece años y todo el tiempo las mamás me decían "Ya le dije que su gustito es su premio después de comerse su verdura!" El 90% del tiempo el "gustito" era lo primero que se comían y la verdura terminaba en la basura.

    Hoy, por ejemplo, estoy segura que el pudín de chocolate va a ser su desayuno y parte de su güicoy va a venir de vuelta en la lonchera (¡nunca a la basura!) menos mal sé que no lleva azúcar y todos los ingredientes aportan nutrición.

  • Another day of what I feed my kids... 😄 Breakfast, an ugly version of this cute little chia seed pudding (ours was blended mango and coconut milk with a mix of overnight soaked oats and chia seeds).
Lunchbox contains some g.f d.f crackers and choc chip biscuits from @seriousfoodco They are grapes hiding in the green snack size @stasherbag The mixed nuts have some carob buttons added, both from @chantalshopnapier 
Dinner is salmon, broccolini, sweet potato chips and some avocado.

- about 5 shredded carrots
- about 3 shredded raw zucchini - 2 peaches (can also use mango!)
- 1 small shredded beetroot to add colour
- 2 avocado
- big bunch of basil - lettuce (big leaves work best!)
- rice paper (about 10) 🥥🥜🌶

DIP SAUCE - 1 cup coconut milk (full fat) or 2 coconut yoghurt
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 1 tbsp curry paste - 2 tbsp coconut sugar
- half juicy lemon juice
- 1 tbsp tamari sauce
- 1 thumb fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar or ACV
- a few teaspoon water
Method: shred and cut all your veggies, separate in bowls. On a plate, pour some hot water and dip the rice paper a few seconds on each side. Then lay on a clean dry surface and start by adding the leaf of lettuce which will wrap other ingredients around and help secure! place all ingredients and start rolling the paper from behind, over the ingredients, then wrap at the sides, and continue rollin’😎. To make it beautiful cut in half and place in a bowl. More portable if you don’t cut them ! - Sauce : simply mix all ingredients ! :)
