Today I’m having kind of the same breakfast as usual haha I ran out of almond butter though so today’s toppings are sliced banana, pb and chia seeds! Really yummy!

Today I wanted to talk about stress and anxiety and how this can effect your body, more specifically being bloated. As you may know lots of people are trying to find ways to be less bloated and seem to experience it a lot. Stress and anxiety while eating or while digesting food can have a big influence. When we are stressed or experience anxiety our body is not capable of digestion food properly, that’s why it’s so important you try to reduce stress and anxiety as much as you can. Try eating mindful, don’t be on your phone while eating try to relax, breathe and eat.

I went to a concert today!!! Let’s just say I’m even more in love with @alecbenjamin if that’s even possible. Today was a really nice day of eats, but I’m sure people will notice the eggs and dairy in my food today. A few weeks ago, I’d planned to go totally vegan this week, but after a series of allergic reactions and moments where I was getting dangerously close to regressing to some pretty restrictive eating habits so I’ve just been trying to limit my dairy (especially when it isn’t pasture raised, organic,  etc. and in desserts). I haven’t had meat in four weeks though, and honestly it hasn’t been bad at all!

But here’s what I ate today:

Breakfast (7:15 AM): Mango, coconut, and blueberry golden proats
Morning snack (10:30 AM): @powercrunch peanut butter fudge bar (these are 10/10!)
Lunch (12:15 PM): Mediterranean spiced tofu with spicy couscous, zucchini, sun dried tomatoes, feta, and edamame
Post-lunch snack (1:00 PM): banana oat cookie (had another half in class 😈) and 24 oz of @tazo early grey tea
Pre-workout snack (3:45 pm): 1/3 cup @fage 2% yogurt with 1/4 Bartlett pear, @kelloggsus protein and toasted corn cereal
Dinner (5:45 PM): Chickpeas boiled with spinach and tomato paste, topped with an @vitalfarms egg, 1/3 cup egg whites, feta, and cherry tomatoes
Post-concert snack (10:00 PM): 1/2 slice @angelicbakehouse bread with 1 tsp @justins peanut butter, banana, and cinnamon
