Guess it helps that I’m a broke student who can’t afford a car anyway 😂😂 but any emissions saved, even if it’s just a little makes a big difference, imagine if every single person reduced their carbon footprint just by a little every day? It would make much more of a difference than if just a small group of people tried to reduce it by a lot individually.   • After signing #thehse contract I was feeling good, motivated and full of energy ! And my workout was great yesterday night 😊

@freeletics guided me through my workout and even if I can’t do a full push up yet, I modify but I’m doing all of them 💪

It’s exam week so I’ll be busy studying but something different from past exam seasons is that I’m actually making time for the gym instead of just studying the whole day away 💪🏻 ⁣

Balance is really important in your everyday routine and doing something continuously will really burn you out. So if you’re trying to cram everything in your head for exams, take sometime to have a breather to rest your mind. ⁣
⁣
Can be doing some stretching for 5-10 mins, going to the gym, going for a walk, cooking yourself some nice foods. Remember, taking care of yourself is equally important as every other aspect of your life!!! ⁣

  • Been a while since I’ve had an early morning session, both my gym options have Become increasingly busy so trying to find a good time to get a decent session in. Plan is for morning weight session and evening cardio.

This weeks challenge, firstly lovely idea we should all be doing our bit however all the suggestions I already practice pretty well
1. Use the same two bottle for shakes and at the gym.
2. Very rarely use straws at all.
3. I already walk everywhere 
Nothing wrong with already being in good practice and will continue to do so flat are really food with recycling and with having lights off when not in use so most boxes already ticked

  • Day 48!!! •Not only did I NOT wear makeup to the gym today (for the second time in one weekend), but I also wore a crop top with leggings that aren’t high waisted for the first time in EVER.

My mindset about loving my body has dramatically changed throughout this challenge. It’s no longer that I feel like I don’t like my body and I’m trying to tell myself that I am still beautiful, I feel like I can actually believe it and be confident in what I wear and how I act. I am intrinsically valuable; my worth and beauty are not defined by others. I also personally believed that I am valued and loved above all by God, seeing as I am Christian ◡̈ •
ALSO. This week’s #gymshark66 challenge #gogreen66 is above all my favorite. I am going to do a more detailed post later in the week but the environment is one of the things I am most passionate about in the entire world.

Like humans, I believe the environment has intrinsic value and needs to be seen as something that should be protected in itself. There are always changes I can make, big or small, in my daily lifestyle to leave less of an impact. But here I just wanted to share with you a picture of one of my metal straws that I use to replace plastic ones (swipe right).
•
I have a bunch of these straws located in my car, house, backpack, and purse so that I won’t have to use plastic straws whenever I go out to eat. I don’t always remember to bring it if somehow I take mine out of my purse and such, I am not a perfect person (who would’ve known, sense my sarcasm haha) but the point is to try and make changes. Earth is being seriously harmed and if everyone were to start making changes, big or small, the planet would be a lot better off. We as individuals have the power to make a difference.

  • Legs Have been feeling amazing lately. Every Session has gotten better and better. Gaining more strength as weight continues to go up. Fun fact, was never a big fan of legs until all my friend pushed me to do them and it’s my favorite day of the week now. Really try to focus on hammering them and do eccentric movements. However, finished Legs with a Wide Stance Goblet Squat. What I love about this exercise it targets the quads and hamstrings. Try this out and incorporate it the next time you hit Legs 💯 Save These Workouts For your next Leg Day 💪🙏

  • Days off lead to a killer leg day and a good ol’ leg pump! 🍑

I’m a sucker for neglecting leg day surprisingly. I over trained them at Uni so the idea bores me and I’d usually choose upper over lower days, so yesterday I decided to push myself and dig deep for a killer leg session! 💪🏽

So glad I did as I hit 5x12 squats building from 30kg to 55kg! I’ve not hit 55kg for 12 in a LONG time! Little win for me especially as this is the lightest I’ve been in over a year!! 🤯

I forgot how good it is to hit that high weight, feel the pump and push yourself to YOUR limits not compared to others. Admittedly now I can’t walk up and down the stairs without looking like an idiot but it was so worth it!! 🙌🏻✨

  • NON SCALE VICTORIES!
Today is day 49 (I think) of #gymshark66 and yesterday I was sent the photo on the left. I couldn’t believe it had been a year since that photo was taken. I remember buying that top was a huge victory. It was from Zara and I remember being really pleased that it fit and looked nice. Zara sizes can be a struggle and in my bigger days I wouldn’t fit into a lot of the clothes. So this was progress for me. I remember trying this top on a few weeks ago and thinking why doesn’t it fit any more! Well because that victory was a year ago and today I dug the top out and took the photo on the right. Exactly one year apart. I’m going to come back and look at this photo when I’m feeling down and like I haven’t made any progress recently. This journey isn’t linear and has its ups and downs. Sometimes reminding yourself how far you have come is the boost you really need.

  • Woke up super motivated today with new goals and a fresh mindset. So here we go. Getting eating back on track and intensifying the workouts. 
Smashed out a decent back session this evening, however it took a lot longer than normal due to the gym being absolutely packed and every machine I wanted to use being occupied. Cue me standing awkwardly waiting for people to finish their set 🧍🏼‍♀️Nonetheless got it done for this muggy Tuesday!

  • Day 48/66: Holiday's over! Time to get back on track 💫💪🏻
I really enjoyed my vacation sooo much. But it also feels good to be back home and get back in my routine. I'm exited to go to the gym again and make sure my nutrition is on point every day. I'm not gonna follow a meal plan anymore: it worked but I feel more comfortable by knowing I can eat what I want if it fits in my daily needs. 
Let's see what the last part of Gymshark 66 will bring! 🙏🏻

almost didn’t post this picture because I thought my legs looked ‘chunky’🙃 •

after everything that has been going on on social media recently, there’s constant reminders to be nicer and kind to other people✨ •

it’s so important to be kind and think before you speak because you never know what’s going on in peoples lives or inside their head, and it can affect people more than you know🤷🏼‍♀️ •

however, it’s also really important to be kind to yourself, you wouldn’t tell someone else that you don’t like a part of their body or they look fat, so why do we tell ourselves that?? •

speak to yourself how you would talk to others and don’t bring yourself down, we’re all amazing and beautiful in our own way🤷🏼‍♀️ •

stop comparing yourself to other people on social media because everyone’s different and in reality we’re never going to look like that because we’re all unique and our bodies don’t and can’t look the same! So there’s no point tearing yourself down because you don’t look ‘perfect’ because you do in your own way✨✨ •

I honestly can’t believe that they reached out to me a few months ago and asked me to be an affiliate. It’s more than I ever expected and I still have no freakin clue what they saw in me that they liked but I’m so honoured that they chose me to represent their brand!
