  • I love coming back to Minneapolis and getting to see all my friends and students! It’s always a busy crazy whirlwind while I’m here, but so much love and joy! One more hip opening workshop tomorrow night at 6pm, message me if you would like to join! Today I got to attend my girlfriends barre class @marjorie_fit, booty is already hurting lol, now about to teach another private yoga session and then heading to dinner with some pals! .

I'll be back in Minneapolis and leading two 90 minute juicy hip opener flows! Please join me on Sunday March 18th at 4Marq from 10:00-11:30am or Tuesday March 20th from 6:00-7:30pm at Latitude 45. .
The stress and activity of everyday life is often found lodged in the tightness and discomfort of our hips. Many of our negative emotions like to live in places in our bodies where they can hide out: places like our hips that get the least amount of stretching and release. Come explore ways to warm up, activate, stabilize, and open the hips!

  • I talk frequency a lot, ok pretty much allllllll the time. That’s because we’re all made up of energy, and our energy effects the world around us. We all go through ups and downs. That’s the nature of life. Everything ebbs and flows.

But when I’m feeling down, really down (Any other Beatles fans?) these are some of the easiest ways I have found to reset and raise my vibration.
.
- Lose the shoes. Yep, put those toes in the grass or sand or dirt. Feel the actual earth on your feet. There’s some science to this, but let’s just say that it feels good. We’re part of nature so it makes sense that connecting with it is healing for us, right?
.
- Smelling or wearing an oil. Any oil really. All plant essential oils vibrate at a higher frequency than humans. Rose, NLBS, and Idaho Blue Spruce are the highest frequency oils that I know about.
.
- Get quiet and meditate. Turning off the distractions and tuning in to what’s going on with your body is a huge first step in self-actualization. I love diffusing some Frankincense, Higher Unity, our Sacred Moutain during meditation.

- Drop an F Bomb 💣. No, I don’t mean the 4 letter word. I’m talking about forgiveness. Forgiving ourselves for limiting beliefs or for not achieving all of those high expectations we set for ourselves. Forgiving others who have wronged us in some way and we’ve been holding a grudge against. Oils are good for this too. My favorites are blends called Forgiveness and Release.

- Grab some stones or healing crystals and put ‘em in your pocket. Crystals are high frequency and they pulse at a steady pace. That’s why quartz is used in watches and clocks ⏰ . When I’m feeling imbalanced, I just go to my crystals collection and see what calls to me.
.
- Check what you’re eating. We often feed our bodies junky foods and call it “comfort food”. I don’t know about you, but when I eat that so-called comfort food, it doesn’t make me feel any better. In fact, I usually feel sluggish and bloated. Where’s the comfort in that? Our bodies are really looking for hearty and healthy meals. Try a good soup made with lots of veggies or smoothie instead.
