Felt good to change up the environment a little.

Back session went dwn like this:

1) Bent over rows 4 x 10

2) Seated lat pull down variation, aiming for around 8 in front and 8 behind neck 3 x 16 
3) Wide grip pull-ups until failure x 3

4) 20 mins stairmaster at steady pace to finish.

Today was meant to be a rest day. For me sometimes just getting in the gym takes all the worries of the day away. Helps me focus and go over anything that’s troubling me mentally. I would say a kinda therapy for myself. The U.S. Army Public Health Center conducted a research analysis to evaluate this relationship via an electronic survey for 7,576 soldiers from the United States Army Special Operations Command. ✅➡️ The incidence of injury was 53% over the 12 months before survey administration. Soldiers who slept ≤ 4 hours were 2.35x more likely to experience a musculoskeletal injury compared with those who slept eight ≥ 8 hours.⬅️✅

As some of you know my @parsleyhealth doctor thinks my SIBO is mostly rooted from stress / anxiety (along with other things we’re working to treat) but mainly stress, fear and anxiety from my past. A huge part of my treatment is diving into grounding work, breath work and meditation.⁣

Meditation has always felt like a chore for me and it’s never “worked” for me because I can’t get out of my head or bring my racing thoughts and fears to a stop - it’s crippling. My anxiety, fear and OCD have controlled my life for as long as I can remember. ⁣

Starting this short little routine has been so refreshing and I’ve seen a huge difference!⁣

715a wake up, wash face, etc⁣
720a wim hof breath work for anxiety⁣
730a light stretching / yoga⁣
740a set intention, pray, meditate ⁣
740a journal (word vomit, self love, sayings)⁣

Of course it looks a little different day to day based on whether I’m working from home or going into the office. I just adjust to whatever hour I need to be up. I highly recommend looking into wim hof, I found him through @goop on Netflix and he’s breathing techniques are so transformative.⁣

If you’re feeling trapped in your meditation or it’s becoming super apparent that your stuck in your health goals try to think of meditation on a variance scale. This might look like standing in the grass barefoot and breathing, taking a walk outside, stretching, whatever works for you. You don’t need to fit your escape into the social norm.

    Starting this short little routine has been so refreshing and I’ve seen a huge difference!⁣

    715a wake up, wash face, etc⁣
    720a wim hof breath work for anxiety⁣
    730a light stretching / yoga⁣
    740a set intention, pray, meditate ⁣
    740a journal (word vomit, self love, sayings)⁣
    750a lemon water ⁣
    8am work / start the day ⁣

    Of course it looks a little different day to day based on whether I’m working from home or going into the office. I just adjust to whatever hour I need to be up. I highly recommend looking into wim hof, I found him through @goop on Netflix and he’s breathing techniques are so transformative.⁣

    If you’re feeling trapped in your meditation or it’s becoming super apparent that your stuck in your health goals try to think of meditation on a variance scale. This might look like standing in the grass barefoot and breathing, taking a walk outside, stretching, whatever works for you. You don’t need to fit your escape into the social norm.

😅Lo so che buona parte di voi mi sta già mandando a quel paese perché i kg sui bilancieri non si sostituiscono a casa e io avrei evitato di accodarmi alla serie di post ‘home workout’ che vanno tanto durante le festività o in momenti del genere, ma oggettivamente cosa bisogna fare se per ordinanza comune le palestre vengono chiuse a causa di un virus ? 
Speriamo che questo provvedimento serva effettivamente a qualcosa. 👇🏻Nel mentre, se ci si vuole allenare comunque per questa settimana (o più, non si sa) :
-
🔻Si possono fare gli esercizi che faremmo in palestra ma a corpo libero o con l’ausilio di strumenti basici come elastici, pesi singoli ecc. 
e in mancanza di questi ultimi usare oggetti di casa (bottiglie d’acqua, messe anche in uno zaino) per avere del peso da sollevare
-
🔻Potete strutturare l’allenamento eseguendo degli esercizi molto impegnativi anche con un peso ridotto o a corpo libero a ripetizioni medie e seguire con un circuito ad alta intensità.

🔻Eseguire gli esercizi con poco peso con tempi di recupero minimi per aumentare l’intensità, magari sotto forma di circuito , hiit, Amrap, emom, con intervalli. -
🔻Non fate le cose a caso, tipo 150 burpees fatti male per bruciare più calorie, visto che non potete sollevare i pesoni in palestra, ma strutturate un allenamento con la testa.

🌞 Siamo tutti sulla stessa barca, per cui forza che passeremo anche questa. Siate creativi e non fatevi scoraggiare, che chi vuole si allena ugualmente ✌️

새로운 것을 받아들이지 못하고, 한가지의 얕은 지식으로 무조건 적으로 틀렸다,아니다 라고 하는 사람들을 간혹 보곤 한다.

이런 갇힌사고와 갇힌행동은 스스로를 성장 시킬 수 없다.

그러한 사람들을 보고 ‘꼰대’라고 생각한다.
한쪽으로 갇히지말고 여러가지 방향의 정보와 지식을 수용하고 받아드리는 사람이 되고싶다.
