  • How many rushing yards will Lamar Jackson get in this offense? 👇

Playcaller Profile takes a look at the fantasy impact of new playcallers in the NFL. Today we look at Greg Roman, the new offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens.

Roman loves to run the football - he often uses jumbo packages with three tight ends - the running game will mix zone-reads and misdirection plays in a variety of formations. Roman likes to mix deep passing plays with his run-heavy approach - expect to see a steady dose of play-action passes downfield.
Jackson has a chance to set an NFL record for rushing attempts and yards, because this is going to be the main focus of the offense. Jackson is currently being drafted as QB16 (@FantasyPros), making him a terrific value at the position.
Ingram has never had more than 230 carries in a season, so we cannot project him to have a full workload. However, his efficiency numbers should be strong and he will be good for at least six touchdowns. Currently being drafted as RB23 (FantasyPros), Ingram has the look of a rock-solid RB2. Rookie fourth-rounder Justice Hill has shown excellent elusiveness and vision in training camp and preseason action. Hill is being drafted as RB58 (FantasyPros), making him one of the best sleepers in the entire draft.

The Ravens have a pair of promising rookies in Miles Boykin and Marquise Brown, but it’s hard to count on two first-year receivers in a run-heavy offense.
Mark Andrews is the best option in this passing game, because he has already shown to be Lamar’s favourite target and will be a major threat in the red-zone. Currently being drafted as TE15 (FantasyPros), Andrews is one of the better values at this position.
Draft Lamar as your QB1 with confidence. Target Ingram as an RB2. Make sure to look at Mark Andrews and Justice Hill in the later rounds. Avoid every receiver on this team.

  • Being able to turn onto either side quickly with both feet and with multiple techniques is going to help you operate much more effectively in matches! Read below to learn the 4 techniques I'm using here and let me know in the comments which is your favorite to use!⠀
-⠀
1️⃣ First is the simple inside turn where you go across your body! This one requires a really good initial first touch. When a defender is by your other shoulder, you can use this turn to bring the ball out the other way and turn him! Be sure to shield it if he reads it early!⠀
-⠀
2️⃣ Next one is the outside turn! This is another simple one, but can be so effective when done correctly. You can find players like Eden Hazard using this one often to turn players that are too tight to him or are late in getting to him. Again, you need to take a very good first touch for this to work! You want to spin with the ball immediately after you take the touch!⠀
-⠀
3️⃣ The Lallana turn is in my eyes a very underutilized turn! It is so effective, but I think players avoid it because it looks difficult to pull off. It really isn't that hard and you just need a little bit of practice to learn it. This one can be so smooth when you pull it off right! You want to start moving back as your about to touch the ball through. This is probably my favorite turn to use on a defender because it's very unpredictable.⠀
-⠀
4️⃣ Lastly, there is the trusty inside spin! Another one of my favorites, this is great to turn into space quickly and also beat a man. This one is a bit harder, because it's very easy to get the ball caught in your feet or take too heavy a touch, but it's gold once you get it down!⠀
