I tried out the F .C Road outlet.
Not only the sweet cravings but also the Italian menu is a must try.
I tried out the apple pie
Alfredo penne pasta and 
5 layer chocolate pastry and mocha almond pastry.
The last two have recently been introduced in the FC Road outlet and they’re a treat to your taste buds.
I strongly recommend one to try them.

  • HEARTY BANANA BREAD comin atcha

I used oat flour that I have had for way too long for this guy. It takes a long time to bake, but I’ve loved a thick slice of this with almond butter as a nice treat.

I don’t typically eat grains, but for some reason my body was craving it, so I decided to listen.
::
This recipe was inspired by @minimalistbaker’s one bowl banana bread. She’s the 🐝’s knees - check her out. If you try this, let me know!

-2 big spotty bananas, mashed
-1 tsp vanilla
-1 flax egg
-3 Tbsp melted coconut oil
-1/3 cup coconut sugar
-3 1/2 tsp baking powder
-3/4 tsp pink sea salt
-1 tsp cinnamon
-3/4 cup almond milk
-1 1/4 cup blanched almond flour
-1 1/4 cup oat flour (ground oats)
-1 1/4 cup gluten free flour blend from @traderjoes

Mash bananas and add in all wet ingredients. Blend well. In a separate bowl, mix all dry ingredients, blend well. Combine wet and dry in one big bowl and bake at 350 for 1 hour and 20 minutes. This bread will LOOK cooked through after an hour, but it won’t be.

The end result is a nice crispy crust with a heart warming center ♥️. Lightly sweetened, this is delicious with ghee and sprinkled cinnamon, almond butter, or plain!

  • I never had a sweet tooth before pregnancy however this bubba seems to be a big pudding lover, I'm still having my salads and healthy meals most days but I crave chocolate and cake afterwards 😱 
So I have been looking for alternatives that I can trick my body into thinking is just as good as the naughty versions! Today we tried coconut yoghurt topped with caramelised banana and walnuts and I have to say I think we might have cracked it...well for today anyway!!   • Round two at Clafouti and boy they never dissapoint!
Their food plays sweet havoc on your taste buds making sure you keep  coming back for more delicious meals plus the view.. Surreal!! What did Capt Food and his entourage try this time.. Ofcourse loads of Sea Food and oddles of beer helpings! 
The Butter Garlic Crab - Divine Divine Divine.. Transports you straight to food heaven. It's so yummy that Capt Food is all drools while writing about it. Fresh crab loaded with sweet meat tossed in heavenly Butter Garlic Sauce. A must must try. 
Lemon Butter Garlic Prawns - The same delicious sauce but with a lemony twist. The result.. A dish which will make you eat your fingers too!! So so Yummy. 
Masala Fried Mahi Mahi - Diced Fillet of Fresh Mahi Mahi Fish deep fried with lip smacking masala batter. A perfect bar snack to team up with chilled beer.. Munch Sip and enjoy the sunset.
Food trivia - Mahi mahi is a rare fish and varkala is one of the few places where restaurants serve this tasty treat. 
Calamari - Calamari tossed in your choice of sauce  served along with a garden fresh salad and crispy fries. Man they just can't go wrong with anything. Delicious!! Chilled Beer served with a warm smile in their signature earthen mugs and A breath taking view... Capt Food just can't wait to go back. Varkala you are Beautiful!

Despite the fact that I have a nightstand drawer full of candy (can you tell what my fav is?!) - I actually don’t have a sweet tooth😳

BUT it’s not always about the candy it’s about the way your body reacts to certain foods - did you know that white flour, white potatoes & refined starch raise blood sugar even MORE than table sugar?! 🥖 🥯 🥔
.

And foods that spike blood sugar are biologically addictive!  So maybe you’re like me and can have a drawer full of candy and it’s perfectly safe, but maybe you’re also like me and CRAVE bread, potatoes, pancakes... guess what?! Our bodies respond the EXACT SAME WAY to both. 🍭 🍞

Any of this sound like you:
1)You eat even if you are not hungry because you just HAVE TO HAVE IT
2)You actually stress about NOT having a certain food or having to cut down on eating it (um, HI chips!)
3) You are exhausted or sluggish from overeating
4)You have had negative consequences either at work or socially because of your eating habits and yet you keep eating the junk!
5) You’re starting to realize you need more and more junk food to experience any pleasure or reduce any negative emotions - oh hey emotional eating!

The First Thing I Did After A 3 Hour Journey From Chickmagalur Was Head To @sizzlerranch
For Lunch With The Gang.

The Menu Include's:

1) Basa Fish And Chips - Rs 220
2) BBQ Chicken Sizzler - Rs 330
3) Spicy Chicken Italiano Sizzler - Rs 320
4) Chicken Lamb Steak And Cheese Sizzler - Rs 350
5) Sizzling Brownie - Rs 110

Taste Wise This Was An Exquisite Starter,  But If You Consider The Quantity It Could Have Had Another Slice Of Basa. It Was Slightly Overpriced But The Palatable Flavours Made Up For It.

The BBQ Chicken Sizzler Was Alright, I Didn't Like It As Such, It Wasnt As Flavoursome As Expected.

Now The Spicy Chicken Italiano Was A Stunner For Sure, The Creamy Sauce In This Sizzler Is To Die For. This Is A Moderately Spiced Dish Served With Perfectly Cooked Noodles.

My Most Favourite Sizzler Of Them All Is The Chicken Lamb Steak And Cheese, Don't Ever Leave This Place Without Trying This One, It's Basically The Perfect Sizzler I've Ever Had So Far, Everything Just Melts In Your Mouth.

And The Sizzling Brownie Meh Nothing Much To Say About It, It Was Alright. The Brownie Could Have Been Bigger.

Scale fear is a real and valid thing. I know many of my clients want to lose weight but the thought of tracking their progress makes them feel overwhelmed and anxious. Some people even avoid their annual doctors visit because they feel nervous that they have no idea what that scale will read and those visits are important to be aware of where your stand with your overall health.⠀

I totally get that because I was at that place once too. I feel like as a society we are taught to either obsess over that number or fear it. I gave so much energy to what that number was because everyone made me feel like I should 🤷🏻‍♀️ And honestly, the less I looked at that number the more I feared it because I was ignoring my reality.⠀

What changed for me? My mindset 🧠 I followed the philosophy that I now have built into my program. I started to look at the scale as just the tool it is. I started to get curious and understand it. I learned my body better and the weight range I FELT my best at 💃🏻

I empower my clients to do the same. With my weight loss program clients learn how to track their patterns to see what meals and eating patterns helps them lose weight and also that they CAN eat a chocolate chip cookie 🍪 (my personal favorite treat 😋) and still see weight loss!
