I’ve been taking more time than usual to switch off from social media and recharge my batteries a little more, posting only once or twice a week lately. It’s been really nice to be honest. I’ve missed this cool quirky creative little community a lot but I’ve also had lots more time to invest in my own creativity - cooking, writing, reading. I’ve also taught myself a lot more about videos, so that I can match my photographic style to the videos I create - something I’ve wanted to get my head around forever! Check out my previous post to see what you think of my first one!

  • El vino Húngaro Tokaji Aszu, de la cosecha del 2008, se vende a 40.000$ la botella. Es el más caro del mundo fuera de subasta.
Sólo hay 18 disponibles, elaboradas con uvas con “podredumbre noble“, inducido por el hongo “Botrytis” que hace que la uva se achique y concentre su azúcar.

La botella es una es un magnum soplado a mano de 1,5 litros con un corcho especial hecho en Portugal después de escanear el cuello con láser. Se asienta en una caja negra lacada que se ilumina a través de la botella con solo presionar un botón. 
El primer comprador un inversionista chino, organizó una fiesta para clientes dónde se descorcho el vino. Salud 🍷

Hungarian Tokaji Aszu wine, from the 2008 vintage, sells for $ 40,000 a bottle. It is the most expensive in the world outside auction.

There are only 18 available, made with grapes with "noble rot", induced by the fungus "Botrytis" that causes the grape to shrink and concentrate its sugar.

The bottle is a 1.5-liter hand-blown magnum with a special cork made in Portugal after scanning the neck with laser. It sits in a black lacquered box that lights up through the bottle at the touch of a button.

The first buyer, a Chinese investor, organized a party for customers where the wine was uncorked. Cheers 🍷

  • So great having some wine from Domaine Georges Vernay, Christine is known for its tremendous work on the  on the Condrieu and Côte-Rôtie since she moved from Paris to the Domaine in 2010. Georges Vernay has made some big statements rescuing the Condrieu appellation last century. This Côte-Rôtie Blonde du Seigneur 2014 was breeding 18 months in barrel with 25% of new wood, vines are around 30 years old. 95% Syrah and 5% Condrieu adding freshness and floral notes. Purple/red color, quite intense. Decanted few minutes before the first glass. The approach was turned on fine meat notes, raspberries, fruits bouquet from Syrah, wood touches. Getting value with air, It was more mineral, black fruits, olive, with a quite lots of pepper touches, maybe too intense for my taste. Medium-Bodied, really fresh palate and juicy, focused on fruit and elegance, remembering me the Vignes de l’Hospices 2014 from E.Guigal. Last sips were round, greedy, peppered again, malted tannins with a great salinity for the finish. Needs years to fully enjoy, can’t wait to taste an old Maison Rouge too ! Thanks for the threat @dalkia_loves_wine 👍. —

  • AD - Yesterday we headed over to the brand new @the_cosyclub at @gunwharfquays for a dinner date! 🥂 It was so refreshing to have a meal that ticked all the boxes for us - excellent service, a cosy & relaxed atmosphere, delicious food and all at a very reasonable price. Cosy Club is a fantastic addition to Portsmouth and has earned a spot on our list of favourites! 👌 Next time you’re in Gunwharf Quays for a day of shopping, treat yourself to a meal and some drinks at Cosy Club ☺️ —
