  • BREAKING NEWS: Huawei just announced HarmonyOS, it's porential replacement over Android. The OS is an open source platform that could support any type of devices, no matter its size or form or the amount of processing power needed.
.
“HarmonyOS 1.0 will be first adopted in its smart screen products, which are due to launch later this year. Over the next three years, HarmonyOS will be optimized and gradually adopted across a broader range of smart devices, including wearables, Huawei Vision, and head units for your car,” read an excerpt of an emailed press release.
.
At the Huawei annual developer conference, Richard Yu said that HarmonyOS is “the first microkernel-based distributed OS for all scenarios,”. The OS will support developer favoured tools like Java, C++, C, Javascript and Kotlin. Huawei will also add support for Android apps in the near future. .
Yu said that HarmonyOS can replace Android on its smartphones at any time but decided to stick with Google's Android platform. In addition to that, Yu said: “If we cannot use Android in the future, then we can immediately switch to HarmonyOS,”.
.
The Honor Vision TV will be the first product to come with HarmonyOS and it will be launch tomorrow in China
.
So what do you think of HarmonyOS? Do you think it will win Android to become the most popular OS of all time or will it still lack behind Android? Let us know in the comments down below

  • The ASUS ROG 2, the latest gaming phone from ASUS packs with the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus processor with a whopping 12GB of RAM, 6000mAh of battery and 512GB of storage.
.
At first glance, the design looks really stunning with the fancy, durable back. Looking at the front, the display is a 6.6 Inch 1080P 120Hz display. It sure isn't the best display out there in terms of resolution but the 120Hz refresh rate with 1ms of respond time surely makes this display one of the smoothest out there.
.
The device has a dual front facing stereo speaker with the fingerprint scanner embedded into the display. The ROG 2 phone sure will not be light as it weights in at 240g.
.
The release date will be expected to be around August and the price will be around 900 Euros. So what do you think about ASUS ROG 2, the most powerful smartphone currently out there? Let us know in the comments down below.

  • Bill Gates called Steve Jobs a "wizard". Bill Gates says Steve Jobs cast spells on his own staff and observers to saved his company from its darkest days. He called himself a "minor wizard" for being able to see through Jobs "spells".
.
In addition to that, he said, "I have yet to meet any person who in terms of picking talent, hyper-motivating that talent and having a sense of design, of 'this is good, this is not good.' So he brought some incredibly positive things along with that toughness."
.
"It was complete nonsense and yet he mesmerized those people,"
.
"Steve is really a singular case where the company was on a path to die and it goes and becomes the most valuable company in the world with some products that are really quite amazing. There aren't going to be many stories like that."
.
"We had, to some degree, a self-selected set of people who were mostly males, I'll admit, and yes, we were pretty tough on each other," Gates said. "We counted on each other to work very long hours and I always wanted to set the best example of that. I think that intensity, even though a little bit it went too far, was great for my 20s, 30s, 40s."

With a four inch flexible display, you can use it to do anything from taking photos to typing out SMS messages, although its display gives it some very interesting quirks. At MWC 2019, we had a chance to strap it on our wrists and take it for a proper test drive. To watch our complete first look, follow the link in our bio.

  • Samsung Galaxy Fold Review: The potential and perils of foldable phones have never been clearer. We've had the Galaxy Fold for about a week, and while it teases us with a intriguing future, the Fold itself hasn't quite nailed it. Samsung's new bendable device is great for reading, watching videos, multitasking and, well, feeling like something plucked out of the future, but it also has plenty of problems. Typing on the exterior display is difficult. The battery life isn't great. It has some scrolling issues. And yes, there are some concerns about the durability of that screen. ⁣ 📱
📱
📱
It's true, some early reviewers have had issues with the Fold's screen. CNET's Fold hasn't broken, for instance, but its screen has developed a small dent over the past week -- likely rubbing up against something inside of a bag. The plastic interior display just isn't as strong as something like Gorilla Glass. ⁣ 😨😨😨
That aside, actually opening and closing the Fold feels awesome, and the crease in the screen caused by the action, while notifiable in certain light, doesn't get in the way when playing games or reading. There's a lot more to say about this phone. • Still skeptical on the durability of foldable phones? Samsung claims the hinge on the Galaxy Fold can last for 200,000 folds. So if you opened the Fold 100 times a day, it would take you five years to reach that threshold. The Galaxy Fold will go on sale in the coming months for US$1,980. #geekturf #samsung #samsunggalaxyfold #galaxyfold #foldablephones
