This bread has the best of both worlds. — no gluten and some pumpkin spice to give it some extra flavor.⁠

What I love about this product, besides from it being super tasty is that it has zero fat, cholesterol and sodium and only 12% of carbohydrates. 💃⁠

  • With so much going on in our lives, it is hard to take a moment; to reflect on where you have been and where you are going? 🤔⁠
⁠
It is even harder to reflect on what is currently happening.⁠
⁠
We get so wrapped up on where we need to go that we often don't take time to enjoy the moment we are in.⁠
⁠
We need to stop once in a while and admire or appreciate the moment that we are in. 😍⁠
⁠
Maybe it means telling someone you love them or sitting for two more minutes to enjoy the scenery.⁠
⁠
I love goal setting; it keeps me motivated, on the move and accountable for all the actions that I take on a day to day basis.⁠
⁠
However, I am learning to stop. I am learning to appreciate my work and my beautiful clients: the peals of laughter, the progress, or even some tears. 🤗 ⁠
⁠
So today, I encourage you to take a moment, look around, and appreciate the exact moment you are in because there will never be another moment like it! 🤩⁠

"Quinoa has far fewer calories and carbohydrates than white rice, which contains 40 more calories and 15 times the carbs per cup than the same amount of quinoa (See why I love it?). ⁠
⁠
A cup of quinoa will also provide twice the protein and about 5 grams more fiber than the same amount of white rice." (Pretty awesome, right?)⁠
⁠
Ok, that's great, but what is my favorite recipe when it comes to quinoa, and can be made in 15 minutes?⁠
Well, here it is!⁠
⁠
Jamie Oliver’s ‘San Fran Quinoa Salad’⁠
⁠
You will need:⁠
⁠
300g Quinoa⁠
1 red chili⁠
100g baby spinach⁠
4 spring onions⁠
1 bunch fresh coriander⁠
1 bunch fresh mint⁠
1 large ripe mango⁠
2 limes⁠
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil or rapeseed oil⁠
1 ripe avocado ⁠
50g feta cheese ⁠
1 punnet of cress ⁠
⁠
Method:⁠
⁠
Place the quinoa in a saucepan, cover with boiling water and simmer with a lid on while you prepare the salad ⁠
Put the red chili, baby spinach, spring onions, coriander and leaves of the mint into the processor and blitz until finely chopped.⁠
Peel and cut the mango into cubes. ⁠
Halve the avocado and remove the stone.⁠
Drain and rinse the cooked quinoa under a cold tap and drain again.⁠
Place the quinoa on a large serving platter then mix through the blitzed spinach mixture.⁠
Squeeze over the juice of the two limes and drizzle over the 2 tbsp of oil and mix again.⁠
Top with the cubed mango.⁠
Using a spoon scoop out curls of avocado and top the salad with this and crumbled feta.⁠
Snip the cress on the top.⁠

As a woman, it is something that we will all go through; it's inescapable, a passage of time, it's our womanhood. 💃⁠

Now, menopause has gotten a bad wrap for a long time. Spoken in whispers and perceived as something that we should dread.⁠
⁠
Now, of course, changes are going to happen,  without a doubt. However, the extent and severity of those changes can be reduced.⁠
⁠
And you don't have to go through it alone.🤗⁠
⁠
More and more women are opening up about these changes. The advances of medical science and understanding of how food supports hormone health is arming us with the tools to get through this period as "cool as a cucumber." 🥒 ⁠

Now one of the first things I did when I started showing signs of pre-menopause was to get tested at YourLabWork so that I could truly understand what was happening inside my body. 🧐⁠
