🙌🏾In this superset I’m hitting the 2 most important parts of the shoulder, the rear and medial delt ⁣

🥎The lateral raises (working the medial delts) give you the round 3D look from the front while the rear delt flyes give you the circular softball delt look from the side ⁣

❗️Of course you need to hit the front as well to be compete but that is very easily targeted and it isn’t a weakness for most people ❗️⁣

Receta súper fácil sin ningún trabajo.
Todo lo que necesitará es un poco de brócoli y tallos de coliflor que se cocinarán en agua con sal durante 5 minutos y luego se depositarán en un refractario donde recibirán cuatro salsas de queso (utilicé una comida maestra preparada y terminada según las especificaciones) embalaje) y queso parmesano recién rallado.
Quince minutos en el horno precalentado de 200 grados (180 grados durante 10 minutos).
¡Y está delicioso! ¿Es fácil o no? 🥦🥦

Aren’t our brains weird?
I feel like physique wise I’m really happy with how I look right now, and I feel great. Yet because a number on the scale isn’t what I would like it to be I still find my brain kicking me a bit?¿
It’s just human nature.

I’m sure many reading this can relate. For some strange reason we attach happiness to numbers. Numbers on the scale, in our bank account, social media “following”, etc. And no matter what these numbers are it’s never “good enough.” we always want more; It’s a self defeating philosophy.
•
Instead, I invite you to measure “success” based on feelings and experiences versus numbers. If you’re feeling good about yourself and your life, you’re successful. Period.
•
Even if the scale isn’t the number you want it to be, if you’re feeling healthier on a day to day basis and your mental health is improving, you’re fucking winning!
•
When the numbers aren’t changing as fast as you would like them to let THAT be what keeps you motivated & consistent.
Keep going, results follow those vibrations💯👊🏼

  • You can’t change your destination over night, but you can change your direction. 
Over the years I’ve lost my way many times. I was constantly doing things I knew that weren’t the best divisions. But I did it anyway because I always thought it just had to be me that figures everything out. All the time I’d have friends and all my loved ones give me advice but I just wouldn’t take it. I realize that was wrong. The people in your circle always have your best interest at heart. 
So my advice for everyone is to take what your loved ones say and really analyze what they are saying. Chances are it won’t do you any harm to take there advice knowing that what you have been doing all along really isn’t working. 
Have a great weekend everyone!

  • CORRECTIVE INCLINE BENCH by @skiman.factual.fitness

OK, here we go with another corrective exercising video, let me know if you guys like this type of format, I have always found that sometimes it is better to see how exercises are executed by visual aids.

The incline bench press movement, a great exercise for the upper chest pectoral.

On the left, there's a lot going wrong, the rep is performed with a half rep motion, the back is kept flat and the elbows are flared.  This can cause a ton of stress on the shoulders, elbows, etc... Also you will notice that the feet are relaxed and not pulled back.

At the start of setup, pull your feet back under your hips and dig the balls of your feet into the floor.

Perform a full range of motion with an arch back keeping the elbows tucked.  This keeps you in a safe protected position for your shoulders.

  • Are you making these 3 deadlifting MISTAKES?⁠⠀

If you are wanting to have some seriously strong ASSets, deadlifts should most definitely be in your workouts 😜⁠⠀
⁠⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠⠀
BUT...I know first hand how confusing and frustrating it can be to know if you are even doing them right. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠⠀
Here are 3 mistakes I see a lot, and an easy fix for each of them so you can lift with more CONFIDENCE:⁠⠀
⁠⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠⠀
❌Using small plates ⁠⠀
⁠⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠⠀
If you start out using 5-10lb plates, you NEED to make sure you do one of the following:⁠⠀
⁠⁠⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠⠀
✔️Raise them off the floor with boxes or steps OR⁠⠀
✔️Use bumper plates⁠⠀
⁠⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠⠀
Getting into a correct starting position from the floor with small plates is VERY hard, and will be almost impossible for most peeps. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠⠀
❌Not engaging your lats aka "squeezing the oranges"⁠⠀
⁠⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠⠀
A great way to think about this one is that you have an orange underneath each armpit and you are trying to squeeze the sh*t out of it, and CAN'T let them drop! ⁠⠀
⁠⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠⠀
This will help create more tension in your upper body which is realllly important. Cool? 👌⁠⠀
⁠⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠⠀
❌ Not bracing ⁠⠀
⁠⁠⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠⠀
Bracing is essential.⁠⠀
Kind of like chocolate 😉⁠⠀
⁠⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠⠀
And an easy way to do this is to take a big inhale, thinking about expanding your abdomen 360 degrees, and then tightening your core as if you were about to take a punch in a boxing class. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠⠀
This will help protect your spine during the exercise, which is pretty darn important. 🙌⁠⠀
⁠⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠⠀

We often neglect the biceps and it role in shoulder dysfunctions, but it actually can contribute to some shoulder issues. Specifically the short head of the biceps, since it crosses the shoulder joint attaching to the coracoid process of the scapula. Although it may not be a strong flexor of the shoulder it can compensate during times of fatigue or weakness in other shoulder flexors. ⏪💥swipe left for more info like this💥 ⠀

So what’s the benefit of the incline curls, well they put you shoulder in relative extension to your body causing the shoulder flexors hence the biceps short head to lengthen. This allows for the biceps short head to be trained in a lengthened position giving it a deeper stretch during the exercises. Now couple that with slow eccentric curls and you’ll be able to help relieve the tension in the short head over time. Plus you also get bicep gains so no loss there. ⠀

Another possible benefit while being anecdotal is if your muscle belly is super high tucking under the shoulder It may help lower the belly slightly, again all presumption here, but it may be possible. I would recommend doing these if you feel your biceps tighten during shoulder exercises or chest fly exercises. ⠀
