  • so, this happened about 3pm today! i NEVER hit 10,000 steps (usually average around 7,000) so I’m stoked to reach it 2 days in a row! #steps

  • 😞😞 I don't want to be depressed or anxious anymore about losing weight.
.
I remember when the thought of losing weight was making me feel depressed. 😫 I remember thinking: “I would rather be this 130 pounds overweight and feel comfortable, than trying to lose weight and feel all the anxiety of not knowing what to do or feel depressed because I was falling short.” 👎👎⁣
.
The reason why I felt so depressed was that every plan that I tried had these big expectations like you’re going to lose this amount of weight in this amount of time. ⏰ So, when I started falling short of it, it was discouraging.😭 They weren't actually teaching me how to live a healthy lifestyle.🍏 What's interesting is, once I quit listening to all the weight loss companies, the anxiety and the pressure of trying to lose weight was gone. 😲😄😃⁣

I just want you to ask yourself: “Am I feeling pressure from my plan? Or am I feeling empowered to do it?
.
💪 Am I learning the things I need to learn so I can actually have a healthy lifestyle instead of not even knowing why I'm doing what I'm doing?”⁣

  • My Monday nights used to consist of me, laying on the coach, watching tv, with either candy or some kind of snack. I would be tired from a long day back to work, and I would have no energy to really do anything. 
Now- my Monday nights look like this! Cozy blanket, comfy clothes, getting ready to jump on a weekly team call where I get to listen to leaders who created successful businesses, with my smoothie in hand! I am more motivated, energized and filled with passion than I remember being even a year ago! 
I leave my Monday night calls feeling inspired, excited, and ready to take action in going after my biggest dreams that I used to be afraid just thinking of! I sometimes forget that it really was not that long ago that I didn’t feel so uplifted and positive! 
Did I forget to mention that you can do this too?! When you are ready to come run alongside me- I will be here! 🧡

  • 🧐What motivates you? What is your drive? Money, family, animals, cars, love?
For me the biggest thing that motivates me is my family. They are my number one supports even if they don’t act like it. Many say I couldn’t get to where I am now, and defined many odds.
You may see me workout and have my normal routines, but did you know a lot of the time I am in pain? Yes I have depression and anxiety and that hurts, but I’m taking about physical pain. I’ve been kicked in the knee by horses (thought I had cancer at one point), kicked in the legs, dragged, and fell of countless times. Over time these situations did not help my body, and unknowingly messed my back and legs up some. I have scoliosis some, but also my spine is twisted. When it comes to my hips they are rotated differently, and one hip is higher then the other. The worst part that hurts all the time is my lower back. My tail bone is not in the spot it is suppose to be. It’s off to the side and uncomfortable. I can’t sit certain ways or to long, and can’t do certain things without screaming pain. But through all this pain, I learned to deal with it and slowly learned to do the same moves (slowly!). Some workout moves or things I modify to myself and that is what everyone needs to do sometimes.
Work hard toward your dreams even if it is a little painful. Dedication and hard work helps bring the huge rewards you will see! Keep moving forward and if you have to, change it up a little and do it your way! Be uniquely you!!

  • Today brings up nearly 1 week of being crumpled up in a heap with serious stomach cramping and searing pain, as well as a pretty hefty cold to add insult to injury. Finally feeling more like myself (although not 100%) - so throwing it back to a time when I was, lean, mean and about to fly to Mexico ✈️ I would say this year I need to be off somewhere exotic again, but considering everything else that’s happening (more to follow), I think maybe playing it safer might be the better option 😬 Excited to get back into the swing of things tomorrow - hopefully no hiccups between now and then - and start back on the process of building some more muscle 💪🏼 Missing that solid pillar of your life is always hard, so I need it back in place to build everything else around it. Tip of the day is just that: Always find something you can fall back to in all circumstances. Happy? Gym. Sad? Gym. Tired? Gym. Energetic? Gym. Bored? Gym. Busy? Gym. It helps keep everything in order, kinda like the sun in the solar system, it pulls everything together, and ensure it keeps on revolving at all times ☀️

    Today brings up nearly 1 week of being crumpled up in a heap with serious stomach cramping and searing pain, as well as a pretty hefty cold to add insult to injury.
