today’s workout was planned for yesterday but I really wasn’t feeling a lift yesterday so I did yoga instead & ended up crushing the lift today 👊🏻

upper body lift:
▫️trx row 4x8
▫️DB tricep ex 4x15
▫️single arm shoulder press 4x8
▫️angled bicep curl 4x15
▫️Voltrons 3x12
▫️cross body hammer curl 3x12 ea side
▫️standing oblique crunches 3x15
▫️chest press 4x8
▫️DB pullover 4x12
▫️assisted pull ups 4x8
▫️assisted dips 4x10
▫️side tricep pushdown 4x6
▫️leaning cable lat raise 3x5
▫️cable front raise 3x10
▫️cable rope curl 4x15
▫️plank 4x45s - do however many sets it takes to get to 3 total minutes ▫️stability ball crunches 4x20

medium to heavy weight on all exercises. I have a habit of using medium or lighter weights just because and yes that’s still a workout but I know lifting in my comfort zone won’t help me reach my goals. trying to push myself each lift to use heavier weights to get to my goals & get bigger 💪🏻👊🏻 don’t be afraid of hard work, push yourself & you’ll see the progress ✨

  • Oh hey...don't mind me, just over here minding my own business in the never ending pursuit of gains (yeah I'm corny, whatever)

A "little" softer now and trying to be ok with that. My intentional absence from Instagram was 100% because of my weight gain after my first show. Everyone tells you how fast your body will respond to unrestricted food intake and coming off all the fat burners and supplements, but it's something you have to experience for yourself to believe how much of an impact it will have on your mental and emotional levels. I've thought things about myself that I never thought I'd think or hear ever again in my life. All because I went from shredded to normal in about a month.

It's been a struggle to get comfortable with how my body looks now, and how I will most likely look for the next year. But I've finally come to terms with the undeniable truth that you can't achieve substantial muscle growth without gaining fat and eating in a calorie surplus. 
So for now, I'll be using those extra calories (wherever they come from) in the gym and just living dude. I'm hella more strong now so that's freaking awesome! Living and eating a healthy and balanced lifestyle beats diets and restricted eating any damn day. .
