  • the RIGHT Way to do low cable flyes
. @fitnessdiaryz 
This exercise is recommended for those people who want to add some more volume to their chest routine & bring up some lagging parts. Just like any other chest movement, it'll be extremely important for you to keep your scapulas depressed and adducted (pulled down and back) in order to properly execute, and get the most, out of this exercise. ⁣

As you set up for the exercise, you want to grab both cables and stay in the middle, one foot step forward for a stable & solid set up and both arms slightly bent to your sides in order to prevent stress at the biceps tendon. 
Extend your arms to the lower side (straight out at both sides) in a wide arc until you feel a stretch on your chest. Breathe in through your chest/diaphragm as you perform this portion of the movement and keep in mind that throughout the movement, the arms and torso should remain stationary, allowing the movement only to occur at the shoulder joint. 
Come up with your arms as you're about to hug a very wide person and then come down. Repeat.

  • If you want to make a change to your lifestyle, start with something small, a small change can go a long way☺️

It can be making 1/2 your plate full if veggies🥗, walking for 30 minutes for x amount of days🚶🏻‍♀️, trying a new fruit/veggie each week🍎, trying  a drop-in fitness class, and etc.🚴🏽‍♀️ You see me and might think I workout wayyy to earlier or too much for you and that is okay! What works for me may not work for you, but this takes experimentation in finding what works for you.

Create a goal which can be sustainable for you and be consistent with with it!✅✅✅

Crush your goal(s), I believe in you 💪🏻👊🏻

Your fitness journey is exactly that, a journey. I first began my sophomore year in college by taking a 1 unit Kinesiology physical conditioning class and the drop-in spin at the student recreation center.  Ya’ll my body hella did freshman 15, yikes! I have LEARNED so much about my health/fitness as well as understanding what works for MY OWN body. Once I started lifting weights I felt strong. But, it actually wasn’t till recently where I actually  mentally have felt my best. Your mentality plays a huge role in terms of how your body physically performs, you may not lift that X amount of weight because you already mentally made that decision. But for me, fitness is becoming more and more of me getting stronger and pushing myself to lift heavy or go harder. I do have aesthetics goals I admit, but focusing more on my strength just keeps me more sane than always thinking about how I look.

So, don’t be discouraged just keep on going. If you can’t lift that X weight, you will. Change your mindset and you will change the outcome. 👊🏻

  • Empecé mi #vidafitness hace 2 años aproximadamente, siempre me había gustado hacer ejercicio pero no lo había hecho tan en serio, y créanme apenas estoy viendo resultados más visibles. Así que los que se desesperan al mes de estar en el gym 💪🏻 y quieren tirar la toalla, les digo que no es una carrera de velocidad si no de paciencia y mucha perseverancia. Además no es un camino recto, tiene muchas curvas y a veces la riegas pero al otro día le sigues. O como a mi, me caí, me lastimé, me operaron y me frené casi medio año. 
Así que hoy te digo haz ejercicio porque te gusta y si no te gusta el gimnasio haz otra cosa que puedas mantener muchos años porque de eso se trata de hacer del ejercicio y alimentación sana tu estilo de vida.
