YOGA FOR ANXIETY ⠀
I’m not promising you these asanas will magically take your anxiety away, (if only!) but they do help in reducing my symptoms💗

💗 STAFF POSE - it appears easy but can be very stimulating for breath work and core control as when you lengthen your spine tall, engaging your core muscles, breathing deep is easier to access .
💗WARRIOR 2 - Warrior poses are reminders of our inner strength. With your front foot facing forward and your back foot facing the short edge of your mat. Your hips are open to the long edge of your mat, arms outstretched at shoulder height with energy through your hands and fingers. .
💗TREE POSE - Standing balances require self awareness and strength through the standing leg. Draw tummy to spine, and place lifted leg to inner thigh, shin or ankle. Take your arms above you or to your hearts centre and fix your gaze just ahead of you
.
💗HEADSTAND - a more advanced pose to help balance the mind and strengthen concentration which is why it’s an effective way to calm anxious thoughts. For more beginners taking ASSISTED SHOULDER STAND can also stimulate the same benefits for the mind
.
💗WARRIOR 3 - Warrior 3 is a single leg balance that requires focus and concentration of the mind. When the mind is focused on the present it’s harder for anxiety to exist within us which is why I love this pose when I feel anxious or stressed. Use your core instead to keep you strong and balanced.
Warriors are poses that require strength and grace and remind me #ivegotthis! .
💗FORWARD FOLD - seated forward fold is a pose that not only reminds us we are held by the earth below us, but its a pose that allows introspective energy to flow. It stretches the spine, lower back and hamstrings and reminds us that we are strong enough to withstand physical discomfort as well as mental discomfort too; like anxiety
.
💗in pose take 10 deep breaths being really mindful of your body 💗if your mind wanders let it, don’t follow it, just come back to your breath 💗

  • How I went broke... 😔

There was a time in my life where it seemed to me that I finally cracked the code. ✅I had a fly ride (bmw m6 drop top)
✅Beautiful girlfriend
✅Money in the bank 🏦 ✅My health was amazing

All of the eyes and people that looked up to me made me feel that I was meant to lead and inspire them.

Little did I know that I was in for a rude awakening... My life took a spiraling turn for the worst... People in my business we’re dropping like flies, monthly fees we’re eating my bank account up like piranhas BUT I still had bills to pay.

The pressure and blow to my ego was like nothing I had ever experienced. It all seemed to happen so fast that I had no time to adjust. 
Hell I didn’t know what to adjust!

Long story short, I lost my girlfriend, I had negative $27 in my bank account and bills were due in the next 20 days.😦 I remember crying (grown ass man) because I felt my life was out of control, I felt like an imposter, and disappointed in myself.

My next decision changed everything... I made a major mindset shift. I said to myself I’m taking full responsibility for my life and the sh*t that happens. No more putting other people in control, feeling bad for myself or expecting from others.

No matter the circumstances I’m just going to get sh*t done! PERIOD!

That decision allowed me to exponentially grow my income, get back in control of my life and have the opportunity to teach others how to get back in control of theirs and live life on their terms.

Even though I help people with nutrition and getting the body they want... It starts with making a decision that may seem small in that moment but it can actually give you the power to have major breakthroughs in your life.
