Oodles ’n’ bunches of studies show time and time and time again that people can be absolutely terrible at accurately monitoring their calorie intake.⠀

If you’re “only eating 1000 calories” and not losing weight…⠀
⠀
… but you’re also estimating portion sizes, eating out regularly, or relying on memory to recall what you had during the day...⠀

There’s a good chance you’re eating more than you realize.⠀

2️⃣ You’re eating ~1000 calories SOME days.⠀

Monday through Thursday, you’re dialed in!⠀

But listen —> you’re not going to speed up the process by restricting calories to near nothing!⠀

99.99% of people don’t need to eat 1000 calories to lose weight.⠀
⠀
Plus, no one actually maintains that for any meaningful amount of time.⠀
⠀
It’s super shortsighted.⠀
⠀
Sure, suffer on ~1000 calories and lose some quick water weight...⠀
⠀
But how is that helping you in the long run?⠀
⠀
I can tell you right now that it’s not. It’s only setting you up for more struggles later on.⠀

My Advice:⠀

Stop trying to speed up the process and focus on following a maintainable & sustainable plan.⠀

Yeah, it’s less exciting...⠀
