  • Another full weekend spent teaching new delegates facial aesthetics and I am beyond grateful to do what I love, even if it does mean working weekends!🤗
.
I wanted to touch upon a question I have been asked numerous times on here.
“How do you leave a safe, secure job that you’ve done the whole of your life to pursue the unknown?” Of course, this goes beyond dentistry and aesthetics and can be relevant to anyone considering a career change. For me, I think of it as short term loss for long term gain. “I am used to the salary from dentistry so couldn’t cut back to build up my aesthetics business even though I want to”

My response to that? You don’t want it badly enough and you’re not willing to make it a priority. In other words, you’re comfortable. And guess what, nothing worth having comes from within your comfort zone..! IMO short term loss in salary for a month or two is well worth the long term gain in happiness, job satisfaction and eventual increased income whilst actually doing less hours! 10 hour week Monday-Friday atm.. I’m not complaining🤣
.
Don’t get me wrong, I thought about quitting dentistry for years before taking the leap. My awful managers just helped me take the leap sooner than I thought I would..!🙂
.
It does take planning in terms of knowing how you will manage your money and how you will build your business. But I will tell you one thing; if your current job makes you miserable and all you can think about is following your passion, take the [calculated] risk and jump..!🦋💫🌟

  • Making $1,000,000 isn’t as intimidating when you break it down. Set your goals. Break them down then reverse engineer it to make an action plan. Of course this doesn’t take in consideration C.O.G, labor, taxes, advertising, and probably a thousand other things that would change the bottom line for most entrepreneurs.
