If you’re ever feeling down and can’t figure out why, GO WORK OUT! Make your body move! Release allllll the endorphins! I used to have random days of being sad and could never figure out why and whenever I would workout, I always felt amazing afterwards and my mood made a complete 180‼️

When you exercise your body releases chemicals called Endorphins — or what I like to call “that feel good”, and they help trigger a positive feeling  in the body which can help reduce stress, boost self-esteem, and improve your sleep! So when in doubt, WORK IT OUT!💪🏽

Acostados en el suelo con el cuerpo totalmente extendido, colocamos nuestras manos en el piso para impulsarnos hasta arriba levantando todo nuestro cuerpo y adaptando la postura de una flexión tradicional.

  • Calves did all the work today,

  • So today’s ride was good upping the miles again.
.
Rode to the office but didn’t fancy working so took a selfie then rode all the way back.
.
5 miles in to today’s ride I hit bump in these smooth as sand paper Kent roads which cause the seat post to move down which effectively meant riding a kids bike for the remaining 25 miles as seen in the last picture.
.
Got it done either way, then Sunday chills with the gang. Not much else to report. .

These combos will get your muscles fired up and rocking!

🎸 Swing/Clean/Push Press (keep the weight high between your legs on the swing!)
🎸 Squat/Reverse Lunge (save this one for tomorrow's leg day! 🔥)
🎸 Pullover/Sit-Up (I was pleasantly surprised at how well these paired together!)
.
📌 Save these fun combos, and tag a friend below who should try them out!

💡 Combination exercises are wicked fun, but they often present a bit of a problem.
.
Unless you're exclusively doing full body workouts, you may not be sure how exactly to program these moves into your workout split.
.
For example, if you want to do a bent over row/squat, which workout do you add it to? Back or legs? Upper, or lower? Pull, or push?
.
Maybe you've never even considered this issue, and now you're a bit anxious just thinking about it haha. 😅
.
Have no fear! There are plenty of ways to accomplish this without sacrificing valuable progress and results!
.
👷🏼‍♂️ Weekend Warriors:
.
🔶 If you're new to fitness, don't even worry about complex programming! Do whatever lies at the cross section of what feels good, what's fun, and what's helping you move toward your goals. Anything beyond that will not benefit you very much.
🔶 You can set up combos like these with any type of equipment, or no equipment at all! Consider what movements might flow together, and if they'll be of similar intensity with the same weights.

👩🏽‍⚕️ Health Pro's:
.
♦️ These combos can be an excellent way to save time after a long day at the office or clinic. They'll keep your heart rate up, and will keep your interest up too - no boring workouts here!
♦️ Your work probably doesn't allowuch room for creativity, so use these moves as a fun creative outlet! Experiment with new pairings, and try different rep schemes - let me know if you need some ideas for this!
♦️ If you're more experienced in your fitness, try tacking on a few of these moves to the end of your workouts. Set up a 10 minute cardio EMOM to spend the last of your energy before heading home. "Running the rack"  with a big drop set can be super fun too! 🔥
