  • REALLY good morning. 🤗 Pip turns 2 tomorrow 🎉 and his birthday wish was an off-leash park run with his brother and parents. It was 77 this morning so we tried and Job made it happen and enjoyed it so much. He had 3-4 longer runs like this, did all the potties, and then we packed him back up in the car with his frozen towels and took them home. He seems to be more cognizant this morning than he has in a while. Maybe he needed a change of scenery or a freedom run! He’s still recovering on the cool floor but his eyes and demeanor are our sweet Job ❤️

  • DID YOU KNOW 💁🏻‍♀️ Your body wastes 70-95% of generic hemp oil because it never gets absorbed into your bloodstream. Stomach acid recognizes the oil as a “fat” to be broken down and digested. If any is lucky enough to survive the stomach will most likely be degraded in the liver... REMEDY 🌱 is different because our hemp molecules are protected by an outer shell of nano-emulsified water-soluble droplets. They are so small, as tiny as 10 nm, our hemp oil can slip through the stomach and liver without being detected until it reaches the small intestine and is released into the bloodstream....

  • Text from Job’s dad today while I was at work: “Job is having a really good day today. Completely coherent and acting like his normal self.” 🤗👏🏻 🎉 👍🏻🎊🙌🏻. He sure was a happy boy this AM when I left for work. We are thinking of keeping him on a low dose of steroids, anyone out there on that regimen? Maybe we are in the clear for a while, or maybe he’s just having a good day, either way we will celebrate it!

  • Proof that this is a day-to-day thing. He’s having a good morning. He went for walkies in our front yard (it’s too hot for him to go for full walk) and ate all of his food which included salmon (he’s spoiled). Of course he’s resting on the floor now but doing just fine, and his little ears even perked up when his dad said “do you wanna go” in a sentence 🤗

  • Job is still doing just ok. If you’re just now catching up or following us, Job has mast cell tumor disease (cancer) and it’s progressing. He has seizures, and is showing signs of it metastasizing to his liver and maybe his brain. He’s slowed down a lot but still moving, eating, and pottying on his own. He likes the floor these days and it doesn’t quite matter which part of which floor. He seems to remain tired and will lay down pretty much anywhere. He showed interest in a 🐿 in the backyard today, and eventually greeted me at the door when I came home. He ate all of his fancy chicken and rice dinner and is just hanging out with mom, still being a pillow to those he loves.❤️

  • Job isn’t doing so well this AM and he asked me to stop posting all his “I don’t feel good pictures when you give the people the updates.” So here you go: sweet Job at 4 years old making my favorite curiously cute face that he makes when he wants something. Back then he wanted me to take him outside and throw a chase toy for him, now if I see glimpses of this face it’s most certainly for treats. I took this photo the first week I had my Canon 6D 📷. Behind him is one of those tri-fold poster boards for school science fairs (duh, his headshot had to have a backdrop) and in front of him was our first living room window in Austin (because lighting). This guy has gone everywhere with me, and participated in all of my photo requests, mostly with joy and comedic relief. He’s the best dog. ❤️

  • 😔Super suddenly confused . It took a few attempts to get him to eat most of his food this evening. He would stop mid eating like he wasn’t sure what he was supposed to be doing. I bribed him the 3rd time with some scrambled eggs, his favorite. With all the meds he’s on, we don’t like giving them on an empty stomach. He’s been fine today until now. This is Job resting in our kitchen with head twitchies and droopy eyes again. I’m just hanging out on the floor with him - this isn’t a place he ever decides to rest. His good to not-so-good happens literally minute by minute. I don’t think we need an MRI to tell us this is brain related. Someone said he looked like he had a migraine. Maybe he does? 💔

  • Doggies need oils too! 🐶💁🏻‍♀️
.
.
My mom’s senior chihuahua has some health issues as she has aged.👵🏼 When she gets a respiratory attack, we use Copaiba & Breathe. She also suffers from seizures- they’ve found Copaiba & Frankincense helps! 🙌🏼
.
.
🐶I put one drop of Copaiba on my hand and had her lick it. This oil also helps ease her anxiousness.
We put a drop of Breathe in our palms and then have her inhale. It helps to open up her airways and supports her little immune system. .
.
💧Only use essential oils that are pure and safe for pets. .
💧Make sure to dilute(we use coconut oil), especially when newly introducing oils to your dog’s routine. .
💧If you diffuse oils, leave a door open to give your pet an option to leave the room.
