  • We had our wedding tasting tonight and I was strongly considering asking if they could recreate the Raspberry Rose Mickey Macaron 😂🌹⁣
⁣
Our wedding will have small Disney touches to it, which I’m super excited about 🤗💖 if you could, what kind of Disney influences would you have at your wedding?⁣

  • While we were at Disneyland last week we got to check out Galaxy’s Edge (the new Star Wars themed land)!! It was in a word: awesome.
We rode smugglers run (more of that in my stories) and we + our boys loved it!! We saw storm troopers, drank the blue milk, and took lots of photos. The only downside was that there’s only one ride up & running there currently and we are ALL about the rides when we visit Disney!! 🎢🎡🏰 If you’re interested in hearing any of my Disneyland tips, I just published a new blog post with general park tips, tips for taking little ones, and tips for taking your special needs child! Let me know your thoughts! 😘

  • Are you team Blue Milk 💙 or team Green Milk💚?! We tried both from the Milk Stand at Galaxy’s Edge this week. Both are frozen concoctions of a non-dairy coconut/rice milk blend. They are slushie, slightly creamy and perfectly sweet- not too sweet. The blue milk is more on the tropical fruit flavor side, while the green is citrus-floral. We honestly really liked both, but if we had to choose, we’d go with Blue. Check our our story highlight on our profile of the Milk Stand for all the details!

hey friends. happy wednesday! ⁣
⁣
i hope you all are having a wonderful week so far. today, i wanted to further explain my absence and “get real” about my mental health & the affect of social media. ⁣ ⁣
first off, starting april of 2018, i was NOT in a good place, dealing with extreme depression and anxiety. i was working so hard on healing but i was stuck in a shame cycle. i had to do a LOT of work on my negative self talk and my self esteem. there’s too much to put into one caption, but just know i was going THROUGH it. ⁣
⁣
and honestly, i needed to take a step back because i allowed this community to affect my mental health. i would open my app and immediately feel anxiety, feeling worried about who was spilling what “tea”, who didn’t like me, who was mistreating the people i loved, who was acting one way online and behaving completely differently in person. i would worry about who i would run into, i would worry about making everyone feel included at the expense of my own heart... i would worry about what i looked like in photos... my last focus in the park would be fun. ⁣
⁣
there’s a lot going on behind the scenes that really used to frustrate me and weigh on my heart. while i knew in the grand scheme, none of this matters much... i still couldn’t bear to see the stories or the posts, so i isolated myself. it was easier to avoid it all together. i wanted to be as far away from that as possible, even if it meant losing friendships and burning bridges in the process. ⁣
⁣
since then, i’ve done a lot of healing and added new tools to my mental health “toolbox”. i’ve come very far in putting myself first, protecting my energy, and keeping those around me who make life wonderful. i’m in a much much better place, and i have so many lessons i’ve learned to share with you all!! i hope those of you who stuck around are excited to dig back into the nitty gritty of mental health and the challenges that come with it. healing is not linear, and breaks are necessary. i am proud of myself for stepping back and working on ME. ⁣
⁣
what’s something you’ve learned in the last year that you’re proud of?⁣

  • WORLD OF COLOR 🌈🌎🎨 guys I have a confession, after seeing this for the first time I like it better then Disney World Fantasmic. That’s HUGE for me 😂 This is most definitely my new favorite nighttime show. I was BLOWN AWAY by all the color effects and beautiful water fountains! Have you seen World of Color?

  • Stopped at the Milk Stand inside @disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge and couldn’t decide which to get so we got both. The Blue Milk tastes like Fruit Loops whereas the Green Milk has sweet floral overtones. Everyone seems to prefer the Blue but the Green grew on us. Which team are you?
