  • 🏰If you've never been to the Disney Parks, then you have never experienced heavily themed restrooms. Yep these are restrooms, people!😂These are the Tangled bathrooms in WDW at Magic Kingdom.⁣
⁣
Don't even get me started on how heavily themed the restrooms are in Pandora in AK or Galaxy's Edge in HS. Thank you Disney Imagineering for all the details always!😂

  • Who remembers shopping at the Disney Store when they looked like this!? I know there are still a few in existence (one being about 45 mins from me) but most have changed to the look we know and love today. ❤️

Tell me if you remember the Disney Store looking like this and where yours was located! ❤️

  • Happy Lunar New Year! 🧧
.
Today marks the start of the Year of the Rat and we wish all who celebrate a happy and prosperous year ahead! 🐭✨
.
In honor of today, I’d like to share part of my #AsianStory ❤️ So many of my amazing friends on here have been sharing their own unique stories of traditions, backgrounds, and memories. Today I’d like to share a bit of mine.
.
My story is that of an Asian American girl. I was born and raised here in the Bay Area, California. I’m the daughter of parents who were both born and raised in the Philippines. My mom is Chinese and Portuguese and my dad is Filipino and a hint of Spanish. Since they both grew up in the Philippines we (I) mostly identify with Filipino culture and traditions. We have the gigantic and loud family. We eat our weight in lumpia and pancit. For almost a decade I danced with a Filipino cultural dance company. I fully understand Tagalog, but can’t speak it myself. Along with my Filipino side, I also embrace my mom’s Chinese heritage. Growing up, my family would infuse elements of Chinese traditions, food and even celebrations, like today’s Chinese New Year! It made for the best of all worlds growing up with this little melting pot of Asian culture.
.
I’m thankful for my unique blend of Asian backgrounds. From the food, the fun and the history, thankful to be able to share part of my Asian story with you. One more time, Happy Lunar New Year everyone! Here’s to a year of happiness ahead! 🎊
.
*This pic is an oldie from last year, but we can’t wait to celebrate this season’s LNY fun at the parks soon... these outfits may be making a comeback for our family! 😉

  • ⚔️ Pirates of the Caribbean Battle for Sunken Treasure is hailed as one of the best theme park attractions in the world, and this video from @attractions360 shows you why! The ride is a modern twist on a Disney classic with updated technology, larger than life show scenes, and an innovative water ride vehicle that uses magnets to rotate throughout the attraction. Can you think of another Disney movie that could be adapted into a ride like this? ⛵️

Make your dining reservations 6 months in advance AND 1 day in advance. Um... wut? Yeah, you can make dining reservations 180 days in advance. If you have a restaurant you’re eyeing, book it as soon as possible. Most of the popular restaurants fill up quick and you may not be able to get in. Your best bet after that is the day before. Reason being, you have to cancel 24 hours before your booking in order not to get penalized. Reservations open up from people canceling.
•
Bring a bottle that keeps drinks cold and ask counter service locations for water. CS locations are obligate to give you water if you ask. Ask for a large cup and pour it in your bottle.
•
Have your souvenir delivered to your room! You can have your purchase items delivered to your room from each Disney park. This is great bc you won’t have to carry them along with you all day!
