That's why I believe each of us don't truly want to be complacent.

When I finished studying for exams or finished my homeworks back then, I felt it.

When I knock out a good workout, j feel it.

When I challenge myself and do the hard things, I feel it.

When I finish reading a book, I feel it.

Hell, when I make my bed, I feel great 😂

So here's what I've learn.

I'm never going to talk myself out of striving for more growth and reaching higher.

E lembre-se que para o seu corpo conseguir agir da forma correta durante e depois dos exercícios e trazer todos estes benefícios é preciso manter hábitos saudáveis que o permitam ter forças e nutrientes como “carga” para gastar. - Mantenha-se hidratado durante todo o dia, mesmo quando não for fazer exercícios; - Tenha uma alimentação saudável prescrita por um nutricionista para saber exatamente do que seu corpo precisa para trabalhar bem e trazer resultados. - Faça exames antes de iniciar uma nova prática de atividade física para não exceder o seu limite e ter o resultado oposto ao desejado.

  • Such an awesome day! Not only did I get to meet Shane Cameron today but I also had the pleasure of learning from him too. Boxing is such a disciplined sport and I definitely have a new found respect for it. Today was a sneak peek into the fundamentals of boxing. It is not an easy sport, there is a lot of methodical technique involved but with practice and perseverance, you will succeed. The sound of your glove hitting against a pad is actually pretty awesome! I’m looking forward to being able to offer boxing to my clients. Thanks @shane_cameron_nz and also a thank you to @david.bason for such a great workshop!

  • Not many people talk about losing their drive. I’m there. It’s not about NOT wanting to be healthy, I still strive to live a balanced lifestyle, it’s just a STRUGGLE every single day. .

This year my life has so been so crazy and busy and GREAT!! I am more than happy with where we are at as a family right now. I’m just missing a big part of my life...I think I could count on my hands how many time I’ve been to the gym and worked out this year and I honestly think that is where I’ve lost it. Once an athlete ALWAYS an athlete, I’ve lost the competitive edge with myself. I don’t do well with at home workouts, I don’t  focus and I don’t want to do them at home. I love having that break and physically being in the gym. .

I am very goal oriented and I love having something to work for, competing really filled that void at the time. Now, I’m not sure I could give all the energy and time it requires to be competitive... so I’m stuck. I think being out of my element and not being consistent in the gym has really thrown me off and it’s been HARD!! .
.
I honestly think I just needed to put in words what I have been feeling, I’m not sure if any of it made sense, but sometimes it just feels good to get things off your chest 🤷🏻‍♀️ I think it’s okay to be upset with yourself, as long as you don’t let it hold you back. This is me not holding back! It’s time to find that happiness and love for fitness again. I don’t know when or how at this point. But I WILL get there. #fitness #realthoughts #ljfit

  • It’s all about your goals. For me my first and foremost is to give God all the glory for any of my accomplishments. I have specific goals in regards to the gym as I would like to lift certain weights. Most of my gym goals are long term but I also make short term goals to keep me motivated. There are a lot of people who are impatient, myself included, so a trick to help keep you from getting discouraged is to make short term goals! Sometimes I even make goals to eat a certain number of times in a day, which is something super simple but it helps me focus on my long term goal without even really thinking about it. I hope and pray you guys stay motivated. Surround yourself with people that have what you want whether that be health, wealth, mindset, kindness etc.  Learn from them and take out the parts that resonate with you to help your growth. Turning into the person we were born to be takes a lot of self work and growth, and a lot of unlearning.  Unfortunately our education system doesn’t teach us emotional intelligence which is a fundamental cornerstone of our society.  But no one is to blame.  We need to take responsibility for our selves and reclaim our power so that we can re-write our future and help future generations write theirs.  That is our responsibility.  Empower yourself and you empower the world 💫
