  • You CANNOT eat intuitively until you are able to completely let go of diet culture mentality. .

You  need to relearn how to eat a balanced diet without obsessing about fat, protein & carbohydrates. 🚫Stop counting macros, calculating calories and forcing yourself to eat in some arbitrary 'feeding window.'

Another aspect that interferes with intuitive eating and being able to maintain a healthy body weight is the consumption of oils.  Why?  Because they are not 'food'. They contain no fiber, no nutritional value, no bulk to stimulate your body's satiation  mechanisms.  Most oils do not contain the essential fatty acids we need.  This disrupt the body's stretch and chemo receptors ability to regulate the amount of food and calories you consume naturally.  It may be an unpopular idea in the 'intuitive eating' 'antidiet' movement but it is reality!

Intuitive eating doesn't work because there are too many conflicting  ideas about diet rolling around in your head!

We think intuitive eating means that you eat 🍟🍩🍦 all day long!!

  • #ad This new year I want to accomplish few things and one of them is losing weight. After having Elena I realized I gained a lot of weight and I wasn't feeling comfortable with my body. Now that I am 5 months post partum, I decided to start on this journey and I am aiming to lose about 10 to 15 lbs max. ⁣

I started on a low carb diet and tracking my bites through an app.⁣
Self control is definitely hard especially when it comes to snacking 😬 I had to work really hard on this and I've tried to find yummy snacks that won't throw me off my goal. These @fiberone brownies are not only delicious but they are 70 calories , 5g of net carbs and only 2 grams of sugar! Talk about a dessert that will keep you right on track 🙌 ⁣

Einen starken Dienstag Sportsfreunde 🙌🏻. Schritt für Schritt geht es immer weiter voran. Egal ob beim Job, dem Training oder auch einer Diät. Es sind immer viele kleine Fortschritte und Verbesserungen, die einen am Ende aufs nächste Level bringen 👊🏻. Jede Woche 1kg mehr beim Lift kann schon nach einigen Wochen einen starken Unterschied ausmachen!   • Weight Loss vs Weight Gain with Deconstructed Chicken Pot Pie

INGREDIENTS ⁣⁣
1 lb chicken breast⁣⁣
2 lbs carrots⁣⁣
3 stalks celery⁣⁣
1/2 onion ⁣⁣
1 lb potatoes⁣⁣
6oz frozen peas ⁣⁣
14oz chicken broth⁣⁣
1/4 cup milk⁣⁣
1 tbsp butter⁣⁣
2 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water⁣⁣
2 tbsp olive oil ⁣⁣
Salt and pepper to taste ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
PREP⁣⁣
⁣⁣
For the Chicken⁣⁣
1. Wash 3 stalks of celery and peel 3 carrots.  Cut the vegetables and 1/2 of an onion into a small dice. ⁣⁣
2. Heat 1 Tbsp of olive oil in a large pot over medium high heat. Add the vegetables and cook until the onions are translucent. ⁣⁣
3. Add the chicken breast and 14.5 oz can of chicken broth.  Cover the pot and reduce the heat to medium low.  Cook for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken has cooked through. ⁣⁣
4. Once the chicken has cooked remove it from the pot and shred with two forks. ⁣⁣
5. Mix 2 Tbsp of cornstarch with 2 Tbsp of cold water and add to the pot to create a gravy. Stir to incorporate and bring to a boil to thicken. ⁣⁣
6. Once the sauce has thickened, add the shredded chicken and peas.⁣⁣
For the Roasted Carrots⁣⁣
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. ⁣⁣
2. Wash and peel 7-9 carrots and cut on a bias to pieces about 1" thick and 2-3" long.⁣⁣
3. Transfer the carrots to a sheet pan, oil and bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through. ⁣⁣
For the Potatoes⁣⁣
1. Wash and cut the potatoes into a large dice. Boil in a large pot of water until soft.⁣⁣
2. Drain the water and add 1/4 cup of milk and butter. Mash until smooth⁣⁣
3. Divide your ingredients evenly between 4 containers. Nutrition is for 1 serving. ⁣⁣
You can make this in the instant pot as well. Use the sauté function and then pressure cook for 15 minutes. ⁣⁣
⁣
For the weight gain meal increase the chicken to 1.5lbs and use thighs instead of breasts. Also use 2 lbs of potatoes, 1/2 cup milk and 2 tbsp butter. For the weight loss side use 3lbs of carrots and divide into 5 servings instead of 4.

  • Whey protein is not a compulsory in the process of muscle building. It contain a great specter of amino acids which are resorbed fast (great for after workout). They also are low calorie food but with a huge protein concentrations, but if you can’t afford it, it does not mean that you should not workout. 😉
Protein shakes are not magical drinks for muscle building. They are a great snack for between meals, but the quality of workout is much more important. You have to go and train, muscles won’t grow just like that. ☺️

    I will also be sending out a meal plan tomorrow. Going forward I'm thinking saturday is better than Tuesday as it gives you time to prep.

    I will send one indian cuisine and one for people living abroad.
    I have seen many people on Instagram have suddenly started putting up and sending meal plans.

    1. Total nutrition profile so you get enough vitamins and minerals from food
