  • So I done a gym session with @festerline and can I say he is the worst/best person to go gym with as in this guy did not care I wasn’t allowed to stop, in fact breathe. 
I done this just to switch up my regular session honestly it was the worst but best session ever honestly it was too much. Sometimes it’s good to do a different training session just to see what your limits are and see what you can push yourself to do so this is why I do a one in a blue session with a gym addict or a boy so I know how far I can push myself 🤮 i never end up feeling the same way ever. Guys it took me 1 week from today to feel my legs again honestly wow, But these were the basic leg exercises we done for that session :

1️⃣ Leg press 
2️⃣Lunge lifts
3️⃣ Straight deadlifts (legs has to be straight when you bend your back)

4 sets of 11 ( yes very unusual when he played basketball they always done one extra for good luck 😪) As in guys I was struggling to walk it was too much man.

Und hier ist er, der Alltag. Und der Bachelor Abschluss schon zum Greifen nahe. 🎉 Noch knapp zwei Wochen, dann hab ich wieder ein Leben. 😍 Und in der Zwischenzeit wird Volumen getankt. 👌

Der neue Plan hat begonnen und es gibt sehr viel cooles Zeug zu tun. 😍 @thestrengthminds Vor bald zwei Jahren hat die ganze Reise hier begonnen und ich bin verdammt glücklich! ❤️

➡️ Der Squat geht wieder, auch wenn die ganze Knie Sache noch nicht ganz vom Tisch ist 🙄 Dafür darf ich jetzt 9ner Beugen und Tempo Varianten üben - Hach, welch ein herrlicher mega Muskelkater, den ich gerade habe ❤️😂 (Hier im Video 4-2-0)

➡️ Benchibench läuft technisch gut, nur der Kopf steht im Weg. Angst, wenig Selbstvertrauen, obwohl die Kraft doch eigentlich da ist. Eine etwas andere Hürde, die es zu bewältigen gilt. Aktuell arbeite ich mit positiver Visualisierung und lerne, in meine Fähigkeiten zu vertrauen ☺️

➡️Wo wir gerade so bei Angst sind: Oft hatte ich so enormen Respekt vor dem Gewicht beim Heben. Ja, auch sone Art Angst. Insbesondere beim Conventional. Doch jetzt beim Switchen auf Sumo... Ist es sogut wie weg!! Fragt mich bitte nicht warum (also doch, könnt ihr sehr gerne❤️), doch macht es für meinen Kopf einen enormen Unterschied, ob man mir sagt "Hey, da liegen 100kg, heb die mal convi oder sumo!" Ersteres würde mir viel viel mehr Sorge bereiten und beim Sumo, ja, da konzentriert sich mein Kopf viel mehr auf die Technik, als darauf, welches Gewicht da liegt.

Und genau deswegen, weil das Training mich immer wieder auf unterschiedliche Art und Weise fordert, liebe ich es so sehr. ❤️ Es gibt immer eine Lösung und ich finde, dass lernt man ganz besonders beim Powerlifting. Denn egal was dir gerade im Weg steht, du versuchst jede Einheit aufs Neue, es zu lösen und lernst daraus. ☺️

Kurzum: Powerlifting macht Spaß und ist ein ständiger Kampf gegen die eigene Angst. Und Wassereis ist toll, vor allem, nachdem auf die glorreiche Idee kam bei Knapp 40 Grad zwei Stunden Rad zu fahren. 💀

Headed to the gym thinking about how hard training was gonna be today (I’m tired, I’m sick, tummy is bloated and my legs hurt, etc) and it manifested as a lack of motivation and not really putting in as much effort or having as much enthusiasm as I usually do. 
Need to clear my head.

  • Warm up sets - what are they and why should you do them?

Warm up sets refer to the sets you complete before your working sets. Your programme may say 5x5, however, it’s unlikely you’ll be able to jump straight into your desired weight for the rep range. Instead, try building the weight slowly and complete some warm up sets before the main set. This helps prepare the body for the exercise and also reduces the chances of injuries. 
The amount of warm up sets depends on many factors but I’d recommend at least a couple sets before you get to working weight. 
My warm up today was bar (20kg) for 10 reps, 60kg for 5 reps, 100kg for 2 reps, 140kg for 1 rep (belt on), 160kg for 1 rep, 180kg for 1 rep (chalk on) and then 195kg for 1 rep before hitting my working sets @ 200kg plus. Remember to attack every rep in the warm up as you intend to your working sets 😁

Really making sure I focus on form has been key 🔑 This is hard to do yourself, so if you’re struggling, try taking a video or asking for help 😊Sometimes it’s intimidating to ask, but people are usually more than happy to help! You will be able to work up to heavier weights better this way and also be a lot safer in the process. Nobody likes an injury 🙅🏼‍♀️

Crop top #vegainz by @iapparel ————————————————————👩‍🏫 Fun Fact I didn’t wear shorts for like 4 years (before my fitness journey) I had a girl at the beach make fun of me having it all out and I didn’t know her yet it really fucked with me mentally. So I stopped showing my body and was actually oblivious to my weight gain before her comments..... I then shortly after started working out and I still battle with that slut cellulite now lol I personally have decided I like to hold a small amount of fat because as you tone up you become hard because in order to tone you build muscle and I want some jiggle so those things go hand in hand (fat and cellulite) for most women especially in the leg/glute area and guess what..... ITS OK make your peace with it- it won’t kill you. But if you really wanna get rid of it then cardio the hell out and reduce your body fat percentage with clean eating habits and it will leave but so may your curves so heads up- it happened to me 🤚so after I met that goal I decided for me I LOVE weight training it gives me curves and cuts but with minimal cardio I have a small layer of fat and I love it 🥰 ——————————————————————- wanna train with me?   • Afgelopen weekend won cliënt @luc.vd.male het NK Junioren powerliften in de -93 klasse, @87,5kg BW, met een fantastische 9/9 reeks, vol met PRs.🏆
Squat: 230kg
Bench Press: 152,5kg
Deadlift: 272,5kg
Total: 655kg (57,5kg meet PR)🏆 Trots op je, champ!

Tot op het laatste moment bleef het spannend voor de eerste plek, waar we voor streden met deadlift beest @rowan.kollau. Ik kijk al uit naar de rematch volgend jaar man, je zet absurde nummers neer als jong talent en gaat nog zo verdomd ver komen. Bedankt voor een pot waar ik van heb kunnen genieten van de spanning!🙏 @ironhouseco as always, bedankt voor het 100% inzetten voor alle atleten, coaches en aanwezigen, het enthousiasme, de passie. Ik blijf het zeggen: best gym in the country en awesome people all-around. THANK YOU❤
