  • **ALERT** THEORY LESSON! .
Wanna know how to tell what key a song is in...?
.
It doesn’t sound glamorous, but it’ll help you sound that way!
.
"Every key has SEVEN chords that belong to it. They all have their own names. For example, the I Chord is called the ‘Tonic’. You’ve heard these terms before maybe. Tonic (I Chord), Subdominant (IV Chord), Dominant (V Chord). But each scale degree has a name. You have the Tonic, the Supertonic (ii Chord), the Mediant (iii Chord), Subdominant, Dominant, Submediant (vi Chord), and then Leading Tone (viidim Chord). The Leading Tone is a half-step below the tonic. The Roman Numerals, the capital Roman Numerals mean the Chords are Major and lower-case Roman Numerals mean that those are Minor Chords and they’re built on those particular scale degrees.” – Rick Beato

  • Here are two “priceless” collections I sold for $20 each recently. I’m ready to do so much more with so much less. I’d rather have one spool of thread in my pocket than an entire heirloom set in the cupboard.
