This can be powerful for our relationships when we choose to listen to others first. It takes practice and skill but it can have a positive effect on relationships. اين‌كه ما انسان‌ها انرژيِ رواني‌مون رو كجا استفاده مي‌كنيم، ربط زيادى به داشتن آرامش و‌يا استرس‌مون داره!
بخش‌ِبزرگى از اتفاقاتي كه دردنيا مي‌افته تحت‌كنترل ما نيست، ولى بخشِ كوچك و مهم‌تَرِش كاملاً تحت كنترل مونه! 
درموردِكرونا‌ويروس هم همين‌طوره، ما نمي‌تونيم كنترلش كنيم‌كه تو شهر و خونه‌مون نياد ولى مي‌تونيم انرژىِ روانى مون‌ر‌و صرف اون بخشى‌كه تحتِ كنترل‌مون هست بكنيم!
مراقبت‌هاى شخصى (شستن دستها،دست ندادن و...كه همه در موردش استاد شديم) سهمِ‌ماست، كه اگه همه‌مون انجامش بديم،كرونا‌ويروس رو كنترل مي‌كنيم. جز اين هركارِ ديگه اى انرژي هدر دادنه! استرس‌گرفتن و وحشت كردن فقط انرژيِ روانى مارو هدر ميده و اگه صادق باشيم مي‌بينيم كه ضرر هم داره! چون استرس، سيستم‌ِايمني بدن رو كاهش ميده.گلبول‌هاى سفيد، ارتشِ دفاعىِ بدن هستن كه الان بايد آماده‌ِباش و تجهيز شده براى مقابله با كرونا ويروس باشن، نه اينكه در جنگ داخلى با استرس! 
پس بياين باهم به جايِ‌داشتن استرس، انرژي مون رو براي آرامش و مجهز موندن گلبول ‌هاي سفيد مون بذاريم.😊

  • Today marks the start of lent, the tradition of abstaining from something until Easter arrives. It’s a time of reflection and gratitude. 
Here at The Barefoot Sanctuary we are reflecting on habits, behaviours or energies that no longer serve us! So we are letting go of them, but not just for the period of lent, but for further more. Our celebration is everyday as we discover a new part of self and we are filled up with gratitude that every day can be the start of something new!

A truth hard to swallow for most people is, that in fact YOU are the only one responsible for everything going on in your life. .
Of course, you cannot control all external circumstances but you do have the #POWER to decide HOW you deal with it!!! .
So, work on your mindset, work on connecting with your true self, your inner guide, your inner voice. Train yourself to really hear and listen and follow this guidance! .
One thing for sure: your inner guidance always leads you right, always! Most of us simply learned to not trust it, as there quite often is no "physical proof" - but let me tell you: once you un-learn all you have been conditioned or condtioned yourself to believe in, you realize: I am indeed guided to whats best for me at all times! .

  • Koliko često u toku dana možemo da registrujemo osudu usmerenu prema drugima, ali i prema sebi? Nekome su drugi "trn u oku" ... kako se oblače, kako žive, govore, dela koja čine itd. A neko stalno lovi svoje greške i preispituje se što ne zna, što ne ume, što se njemu uvek loše stvari dešavaju i to, često se obraćajući  sebi pogrdnim imenima. 
Da li u toj krivici i osudi leži nezadovoljstvo i želja za promenom? 
Osuđivanje ponašanja može da bude izraz jasnog stava, ali kako prepoznati kada je poziv u pomoć?

  • My post yesterday was advising couples to learn how not to share negative issues about their spouse with their parents or siblings, today am talking to us about avoiding to share issues about your parents and siblings with your spouse. Unknowingly in a bid to be transparent we help our spouses disrespect our parents and siblings and parents and siblings disrespect our spouses. The best tools for healthy relationship and marriages is the Bible. Let’s study it more and put God first place in our lives. Transparnacy is not divulging secrets but being transparent enough to also respect the privacy of others.   • Some of you know I was thinking of shutting the business but then I decided that I wanted to do more around mental health and my business could help. It's taken a while but I am now working with The Counselling Foundation and will be donating 20% of the profits from sales of the "bee collection" to this amazing charity.

As you know (or maybe not if you are new here) I am a huge advocate of counselling. For me it was mental health related but it could be for all sorts of reasons. I believe counselling should be available to everyone but it's expensive and can be long term. So in order to do my bit I want to help others have the ability to access counselling if they want to take that route.

  • There’s a myth out there that there is some state of wholeness that comes with being "fully healed". I don’t know what fully healed even looks like. Once, I thought I’d be done healing at some point. Once, I thought I’d become enlightened if I just worked hard enough at it (ha ha ha! - this is funny because “working hard” is so not the point) and then I'd feel healed and whole.⠀
.⠀
Now, I’m not sure there is an endpoint to the healing journey. Having a finish line makes us feel like we have to get somewhere, and that's not true. We get to where we get. We do the best we can. That is the journey.⠀
.⠀
I do know that there’s a place where we begin to function better, to feel better, and to live our lives from a more empowered, more compassionate place. And that there's a time when we begin to feel whole - like the "broken" parts are just parts of us. A time when we understand that all those parts make a whole person.⠀
.⠀
That's not broken v whole. That's a beautiful integration of all that we are. That's what I think wholeness really looks like.⠀

  • Dear Survivor,
You are SO much more than just a trauma survivor. The fact that you survived what has happened to you is truly amazing but it does not have to define you. You don’t have to be ready for recovery just yet.. but believe me when I tell you that you CAN survive the recovery. If you’re hesitant right now, but know you want to talk with someone some day that’s okay.

Trauma truly messes with our ability to handle stressful situations and attempting to work on trauma when you’ve never been to therapy can be very stressful. For now, consider breaking this daunting task into small, accomplishable steps.
.
Maybe step one for you might be to write down your anxious thoughts in relation to finding a therapist. You can even break those thoughts down to questions such as:
.
“Where do I even begin to find someone?”
“What approach should I even look for?”
“Do I need to look for someone who has specific skills in that area?”
“Are there alternative ways to healing trauma other than mental health therapy?”
.
Pick one question that you’d like to tackle. For example, “where do I find a therapist?”. Make space for this question. Call it into existence. And when you feel called to answer this question, look around you to find the answer. Perhaps you’ll remember that you follow a therapist who frequently posts about this sort of thing... maybe you feel comfortable asking a friend who’s gone to therapy how they found therapy.. hell, you might even just start by Googling your question just to see what pops up. There are many different ways to answer these types of questions.. listen to your wisdom. Listen to what you need and give yourself some self-compassion around taking your time to find the answer. By giving yourself the time and self-compassion you need to start therapy, you’re sending the message to the universe that you deserve those things in your healing experience.

  • I am a recovery codependent and I also was in a narcissistic relationship for years.The combination of codependency and a continuously being involved with toxic partners made me loose sight of who I was and what my needs were for years.Treated myself worse than anyone else and always put myself last.Excessive caretaking,people pleasing and obsessing over others and their problems led to me being targeted by narcissist and also failing in almost all romantic relationships.Why?There was never a Me.It was always about them and they saw that and took advantage of my empathetic nature.After leaving my toxic relationship and learning about codependency I have distanced myself from most of the toxic people in my life and started working on boundaries,healing,self love.Its been a hard and tiring journey but I must confess my life is filled with more peace,beauty and abundance.
Yes dear had to start saying more no’s than yes’s.I had to cut it off people that honestly cared nothing about me and I had to be real with myself-Why was I a part of this never ending cycle of pain.Slowly but surely the answers came and I pulled myself out of the abyss of emptiness,hurt and lack my actions and that of others put me in.
It’s not easy but it’s worth it.You May think you can’t but o know we all have a choice about how we want to live our days.Yes that choice is in your hands and every day you can make new choices that take you to a better place.Even when you fail,keep making those choices that you need to make for you.And one day you will be happy you did.
As an empath it was hard to let go of people even though the hurt me.It is still hard to watch people hurt without helping all the time.I help but I use judgment.I help but I know my limits.I help but I always remember I am not obligated to.I help when I can and every way that I can but not in ways that hurt me.I help but I know what’s my reaponsibility and what others are responsible for.I help but I am aware of when I people may be using me.I help but I know when to stop.I help but o know you can’t help everyone.I help but I know not everyone wants to change.I help but I know when to walk away.I help but I also remember to ask

  • Today marks one whole year since this man first kissed me. We had been solely friends for 7 months and not once had any conversations about whether either of us wanted more. To be completely frank, I didn’t even know he was attracted to me because of how point blank we had friend-zoned each other. But then it happened. And now, gosh. Feeling my husband roll over towards me this morning and cuddle up to me in bed. His breath on my neck as he whispered that this year has been the best of his life... my heart stopped. I prayed for this man for years and there were times in my life I had all but given up believing I could ever marry or be in love. Today, I am more wildly in love than the day we first began our journey of learning how to love better together. And a lifetime with him just doesn’t feel long enough. .
