  • Day 8/40 of #livingcreativelychallenge - Commuting Living in the city, I feel super lucky to have a decent mode of public transportation. I can take a train to Beacon or Long Island, North Jersey or Philadelphia. I can see family across state lines in a matter of hours and the time that it takes me to get to them I consider sacred. Commuting for me is having a plethora of options to entertain myself. Yes, I can plug into my smartphone for the entire time or I can invest the time back into ME. I can doodle, write, meditate, listen to an audio book or a podcast. I look forward to sitting in my quiet train car and disconnecting from the world.
