  • Few hours to fly.. I figured what's better than chocolate to try to distract me and my family from the situation after I have been here for four months!
So wanna know what more delicious than #chocolate ? It's chocolate with #coffee !! This is a double chocolate #cake with espresso. I adapted @bakerbynature 's Death by Chocolate Cake. I used yoghurt instead of sour cream, melted ghee with vegetable oil. I also didn't use hot water, I a whole cup of black coffee instead. The coating is a whipped ganache and I crushed some #kitkat and #villars chocolate on top. Let me take a second here and talk about Villars chocolate! I mean, again, what's better than chocolate than high quality dark chocolate stuffed with coffee!! You guys are genius!! What do you normally eat before a stressful flight??

  • I’ve been missing the monsoons so much these last few days. And the one thing I love having in the monsoons is butta/fire roasted corn on the cob. Here in India we have several vendors who roam around with a small gas and roast corn cobs in front of you and rub black salt, red chilli powder and lemon juice. Believe me when I say this, cool pleasant rainy winds, a fresh hot ear of ‘chatpata’ corn uff uff uff 🤤🤤🤤🤤
Although I do think it’s annoying having some corn fibres stuck in my teeth from eating it straight off the cob, so for convenience sake, I decided to make it into a soup. Namely a corn chowder! 
Recipe-
Ingredients:
- an ear of corn, roasted
- a medium potato, peeled diced and boiled
- a medium onion finely chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 100ml full fat milk
- 150ml veggie stock - salt to taste
- black salt, red chilli powder to taste
- juice of half a lemon
Method:
- in a stockpot, heat up some oil and sauté the onion and garlic till it’s slightly golden.
- Add the potatoes, corn and veggie stock. Let it simmer and season according to taste.
- take it off the heat and let it cook a little. Cool it down blitz it till it’s smooth. (If you choose to keep it chunky, skip this step)
- now add the milk and bring it to a simmer.

  • Nouilles de pommes de terre, aux noix et à la muscade 
On connaît les nouilles de courgettes, qui se mangent souvent crues. On connaît aussi les nouilles de patates douces, que l'on mange légèrement poêlées ou vite blanchies. Mais les nouilles de pomme de terre sont rares. Je les ai préparées ce soir et c'était très bon. La sauce y est pour beaucoup mais c'est tout de même très agréable de manger les pommes de terre de cette façon 🌱 1 kilo de pomme de terre coupées en "nouilles " par un spiralizer 🌱 ail, oignons ou échalotes 🌱 un petit bouquet de persil 🌱 un bol de noix concassées 🌱 une brique de crème de riz (ou d'avoine)
🌱 de la noix de muscade en poudre 🌱 sel et poivre 💚 Sauter les nouilles 5 minutes dans un peu d'huile d'olive en les remuant souvent. Puis ajouter un fond d'eau, baisser le feu et laisser cuire doucement une vingtaine de minutes en remuant souvent. ❗️ il ne faut pas que les pommes de terre collent ni que l'eau ne s'évapore complètement. N'hésitez pas à en remettre en petite quantité en cours de cuisson. 💚 retirer les pommes de terre quand elles sont cuites mais encore bien fermes. 💚 ajouter dans la même sauteuse l'ail, l'oignon et le persil émincés. Bien mélanger et laisser cuire quelques minutes. 💚 verser les noix concassées et la crème de riz. Ajouter 1 cc de noix de muscade, du sel et du poivre et mélanger de nouveau. 💚 porter à ébullition et éteignez aussitôt. Verser les nouilles sur la sauce, mélanger et servir rapidement ❤️ vous allez adorer! 😋😋

  • "Chi si ferma è perduto" e così nemmeno dopo le festività di Pasqua spengo i fornelli. 😂😂😂 Mani in pasta...ed ecco una nuova ricetta: quiche con pasta briseè croccante preparata con la farina di grano duro Auchan, ripieno di ricotta di bufala, uova, mozzarella e tanti pomodorini rossi in superficie. Bella vero? Che ne dite di prepararla per il vostro prossimo pic nic? .
