  • 🔥One of the most fun plays to make as an infielder is the glove side ball in the hole which requires a quick spin and strong accurate throw. ➡️This drill works on getting to that glove side ball, spinning and firing to 1B. Rinse and repeat! 🎥Credit: @da_abiley_sistas 🙌🔥 #fielding #baseballtraining #infielddrills

  • Awesome transformation right here over the course of December and January🔥
-
Initially, Patrick’s drive leg was crashing prematurely and he wasn’t able to ride his glute forward. This caused him to land on his toes and disconnect from the ground with his back foot too early.
-
We programmed Patrick with a lot of rear leg stability drills and hip stretches to help him with his deficiencies. Band-assisted pistol squats, elevated heel taps, single leg RDLs, and hip CARs were a few of the exercises we completed daily before throwing.

  • My man Andrew putting in a lot of work lately working extremely hard in generating more hip rotation while generating linear force to a firm front side. As you see here his back leg is off the ground at contact while keeping his body behind the baseball. Andrew has shown great progress in consistent mechanics while generating more effortless power.

  • We’ve all seen the rear foot elevated Bulgarian Split Squat and know the benefits that exercise provides.

Here is another split stance variation involving an elevated FRONT FOOT.

@dr.dalebartekdpt has been using this exercise paired with slow eccentrics to help recover from a quad injury. Elevating the front foot pre-loads the posterior chain giving you more stability in your squat descent and challenging your depth allowing the quads to work like they should!

GIVE THESE A TRY! 💪🏼

  • Anticipate the pitch, and hunt it. Don’t wait, and react. On the offensive. You have nothing to lose. Fearless. #1houghtForce

Be a Sniper in the batter’s box when you are in a hitter’s count (any count less than 2 strikes) Hit on your terms, not the pitcher’s. ☑️Be on time and in rhythm.
☑️Get a good pitch to hit, hunt/anticipate getting a pitch in your zone.
☑️Yes, yes, no mindset. Let it go and crush your pitch if you get, shut the swing down if you recognize it’s not a good pitch.

  • If I get ONE more...
——
I get a lot of these on a DAILY basis!!! Don't waste my time. And sending me vid of you hitting a homerun talking bout, "what do you see?" 😒😒 c'mon people...we gotta do better.
——
Are you coachable?
Are you teachable?
Are you trainable?
•
Or are you just asking? Some people mistake curiosity for growth. Nah...ACTION...is growth!!! Ask and then TAKE ACTION...show that you want it.

  • Listen to understand the relentless approach Kobe took in both preparation and competition. .
.
We can do the same! The discipline he had for his own development is duplicatable🙌🏾
.
The most important factor for development is self discipline💡
.
Do what you have to do when you have to do it regardless how you feel about it‼️
.
It’s about the long game📈 .
.
This applies to parents of young athletes as well. The transformation is more important than the presentation🤐..
.
Showcase after showcase...
.
Tournament after tournament...
.
Parents of young athletes are more passionate about kids playing games and their rankings at showcases, instead of focusing on their child developing😣
.
It’s about development🧠 .
.
Master the fundamentals of your craft. .
.
Trust in your craft enough to admire it, study it, perfect it

  • Tunneling our energy & direction.

W/ Mikey our goal today was to keep it simple on the move back and prepare for a good forward move without any inefficient moves. Gather energy in the backside then transfer it from the ground all the way through the barrel-good, clean direction.
