  • It’s a dirty rice kind of night! 😍 One of my favorite 30 days to healthy living meal preps! I love that this program focuses on clean eating, not prepackaged and processed foods! You truly learn how to live a clean, healthy, and sustainable lifestyle that tastes delicious! The program provides you with shopping lists and recipes that are simple to follow! Simplicity is so important to me because if it wasn’t simple and easy, I would have given up a long time ago!   • The more women I work with and have worked with, I’ve found out that they also struggle the same way I have. 
I’ve learned that with a change in my diet, doing a liver & gut cleanse every so often, incorporating whole nutrition, regular exercise, and lots of personal development, my anxiety has diminished tremendously!

This is a busy and chaotic time of the year, and that those that suffer with anxiety suffer even more. 
Here’s a few tips and foods that you can implement in your diet to help reduce anxiety. 
1.  Complex carbs such as whole grain breads and cereals boost serotonin in the brain.  Serotonin is th calming brain chemical. (No wonder I love bread so much!

2.  Eat Protein at Breakfast so you have energy, and your blood glucose levels stay steady. (Superfoods or boiled eggs, eggs of any kind with bacon of choice, Greek yogurt with the Grams of Protein being more than the Grams of Sugar)

3.  Limit or avoid Caffeine and alcohol that cause anxiety after consumption.  They both affect sleep and can cause edginess.

4.  Stay hydrated and drink half of your body weight in Ounces of water each day.

5.  Add Folate & B Vitamins, Magnesium, Omega-3 Fatty Acids (all in superfoods I consume)

6.  High protein foods

7.  Dark Chocolate 
8.  Probiotics increase the availability of serotonin, which in turns reduces anxiety.

9.  Foods high in Zinc such as cashews, egg yolks, oysters, and beef.
Salmon, tuna, trout all aid in anxiety.

10.  Processed foods such as candy, sweets, hot dogs, pies, cakes, etc all increase anxiety, and can be avoided. 
I hope that some of these help you manage or help diminish anxiety, if you do or have suffered from intense anxiety. ❤️I do recommend a really good cleanse that helps release some of the toxins in your body that are harmful, can cause mood swings, depression, high anxiety, unexplained weight gain, and more. #anxiety #cleaneating #transform #momof4 #momwin

  • C H I C K E N &  M A C | Day Eleven. I made a pan of gluten free, dairy free Mac & Cheese for a few client meals today and it smelled and tasted so good that I decided to bring the leftovers home for dinner. To round out my meal, I made a giant salad w/ my favourite lemon garlic vinaigrette and pumped up the protein with smokey chicken tenders. Can we just agree that this is just the epitome of comfort food?
