To do better, to live better, to love better, to do better 🙏💯🙏💯 That's something we should all strive for, who's happy with just being ok with how things are???? Things should never be just ok, you always want the best in life and to feel like you worked hard to achieve those things ✔👍✔👍 Nothing is ever going to be simply handed to you that's not how "real" life works. If you WANT certain things you go GET those things. Am I right #fitfam 💁‍♂️💁‍♂️💁‍♂️💁‍♂️ They say nothing in life is easy, I say your present failures will set you up for your future successes 💥💣💥💣 Your going to have bumps along the way, setbacks along the way, or you may even deviate from the plan completely. You take your knocks, you brush it off and you just strive to be BETTER 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Think about that the next time life seems grim, like things just dont seem to be going your way, or like why cant I catch a break 😡🤬😡🤬 It has helped me many times when I have been in those type of spots in life. Try to always stay positive, keep your head up and know tomorrow is another chance to be better. Things are never as bad as they seem 🤔🤔🤔🤔 Here's some shoulder shit from my #workout today guys. Smith Machine Agony Presses to finish blasting my delts. As you can see after some cardio at the end of the session I was completely drenched in sweat. Great workout and it really helped get my day off to a fantastic start. You have probably heard of the "bro diet" and flexible dieting before.

❗️BRO DIET
The "Bro diet" refers to eating clean 24/7, meal prepping all day, and eating very little variety of food.

No going out. No ice cream. No pizza. You stay home and eat one of your prepared meals.

This approach extremely hard to maintain long term because of how restricted your diet is.

✅FLEXIBLE DIET
A flexible diet is one that is unrestricted and doesn’t categorize foods as good or bad. Food is simply food. Some foods are more nutrient dense, some are more calorie dense, but it is what makes up the majority of our diet that is most important.

80/20 APPROACH
80% of the time you eat whole, nutrient dense, and minimally processed foods. 20% of the time you eat the calorie dense, low nutrient treats that you enjoy, like chips, ice cream, pizza, donuts, etc.

PORTION CONTROL
As a flexible dieter you make sure to control your portions. You don’t eat the whole pizza by yourself. However, you wont sweat having a few slices. You have tracked foods before and are aware of sensible portion sizes to achieve your daily caloric needs. You can build a meal that is well balanced and takes into account nutrition and your enjoyment, from any foods that are available.

FRUITS AND VEGGIES
You eat plenty of them. You know veggies are freebies so you fill your plate with as many as your heart desires. You eat fruit strategically before your workouts and for a quick snack for a no crash energy boost. You understand that having a colorful diet is important to getting the nutrients that you need.

HAS NO RESTRICTIONS
You can still have pizza, ice cream, and donuts. You understand that it’s what you eat consistently that matters the most, not occasionally. You stick to the 80/20 approach, and don't worry when you go out to dinner and enjoy time with friends.

  • Si me siguen ya de hace tiempo saben lo mucho que me encanta entrenar, no puedo creer que llevo ya dos años asistiendo al gym pero en realidad nunca priorice mi alimentación, hasta hace poco me callo la onda que “somos lo que comemos” que no importa cuanto te mates en el gym si no comes de acuerdo a tus metas sera muy poco probable que las logres. No estoy hablando que sigas una dieta por cuatro semanas y ya, NO! El punto es llevar una alimentación que vaya contigo y tu estilo de vida, si te gusta el pan, tu come pan!! el no es tu enemigo, la falta de información lo es, así que informarte y aprende de las cosas que te apasionan. 
Creo que esta caption ya esta largita así que me les voy jaja pero esperen mas post como este por aquí! 💓

If you follow me long ago you know how much I love to train, I can not believe that I have been attending the gym for two years now but never really prioritize my nutrition, until recently accepted the wave that "we are what we eat” it doesn’t matter how much you kill yourself in the gym if you do not eat according to your goals it will be very unlikely that you will achieve them. I'm not talking about following a diet for four weeks and thats it, NO! The point is to take make it a lifestyle, if you like bread, you eat bread! He is not your enemy, the lack of information is, so inform yourself and learn from the things you are passionate about.
