  • Do you know what health has brought me? The freedom to be a RULE BREAKER!💥 I mean breaking my own "rules".😂 I was in my own way with dumb ideas... "this is what we do, this is how we've always done it and this is how we'll keep doing it" for SO LONG...I mean for real. I've really been able to get out of my own head on a lot of ideas that weren't necessarily what I wanted. They were either what I was raised to do, what I thought was the socially acceptable thing to do, what my pride wanted me to do, or who I thought I was supposed to be. 😩

I share this today to empower you and hopefully to show you that it’s ok to be vulnerable...because these things👇 leave me pretty vulnerable since they are embarrassing for me to post. 🤷‍♀️ Here are a few personal rules that I have broken in the last 60 days.
1. My Christmas tree comes down by Jan 6.🎄 2. I do NOT wear workout clothes out in public unless I am going to work out... 🏃‍♀️ 3. I must accomplish all Stay-At-Home mom activities even though I am a working mom. <-- this one was killing me 😮

These seem silly to some...I know, but can anyone relate to this??? 🙋‍♀️ Does anyone's crazy look kinda like my crazy???🤪 I'm so thankful that my little journey to health has led me to the most important healthy habit that I could have ever learned.👂 🗣PRACTICE BEING ME🗣

I've learned to decipher what I actually care about, not what I think I should care about.🙄 Even though I know that there is much work to be done, I am no longer trapped in my own head. I am breaking chains ⛓ that should have been broken long ago. While I know that I like to try to be an "overachiever" in all aspects of my life, it's been a great 6 months of just being me - who still achieves a lot of greatness, but with way less stress.🥰 Sometimes we live by these ideas that we have built up in our heads that just simply aren't true.😬 So I encourage you to challenge some beliefs that you may have about what you should do, who you should be and what is and is not acceptable in life.🙂 PRACTICE BEING YOU in a world that is telling you to be someone else.🙌
